Pretty Secure

Campus Safety is always circling around both North and South Housing at Lawrence Tech. I have never felt unsafe. However, we have had a few car break-ins and part theft. Otherwise, the campus is extremely safe. I go out at 2 and 3 in the morning all the time and never feel uneasy. Campus Security is out all day and night.

Pretty Diverse Food

The places to go on Evergreen or on Ten Mile are very good. There is a lot to choose from on Evergreen Rd. There is a Thai place, a Middle Eastern place, and a few sandwich places. If you travel around the Southfield area, you can find many places that are great to dine at.

On campus, the dining is pretty decent. The food is a little repetitive after a while, but when I am hungry I can depend on the food to satisfy me. Off-campus, the food is a lot better. There is more diversity. I would say not to buy a large meal plan as a freshman, but then you might be limiting yourself to a certain amount a day/week.
