Good Food Off Campus but You Are Required to Have a Meal Plan for All 4 Years
There's a decent selection of restaurants along College Ave, almost all priced below $15 (a lot of them are less than $10). Harmony Cafe and Taste of Thai are practically on campus. There's also an Erb's & Gerb's, plus a decent amount of locally run coffee shops (and a Starbucks if you're into that). There's a Chinese restaurant, a gyro place, a restaurant called "Chicago Grill", which serves both Chicago style hotdogs and middle eastern food, and plenty of pizza. Victoria's gives you enough pasta for left overs for at least 2 more meals, and is very reasonably priced. There's also plenty of local restaurants around Appleton, but generally you need a car to get to those places.
[Note that while there are a plethora of locations off campus to eat, you have to have a meal plan and it is not even a little bit cheap, so don't plan on eating off campus all the time unless you somehow have a ton of cash to burn]
