Le Cordon Bleu has a main computer lab, with a substantial amount of computers in the room, and they also have random computers spreaded throughout two buildings for all to use. There is wireless connection, so you make connect your own phone or laptop to a student connection. As with any wireless connection sometimes the connection my seem slow on particular days. Only once have I experienced that the computers where completely down.

I am a culinary arts student and here at Le Cordon Bleu they offer alot of hands on training, which is essential to survive in this field in the outside world. They have kitchens that are supplied adequately for use in a professional kitchen. The instructors are very knowledgeable with the curriculum and program.

As far as flexibility Le Cordon Bleu is great on that, it also depends on your instructor too. But the hours are only 4 hours a day, classes are four times a day and most instructors allow you to come to one of their other classes for make-up days, or to even change your school hours for that day.

When I first started I thought that my career services advisor wasn't any help at all, but now she had moved on to other things within the school we have new advisors, now I seem to be getting the help that I need. They are very resourceful and willing to help with resumes, externships, job finding and so forth.

The first class I had, everyone received an A. I found it discouraging that each teacher had their own way with the grading scale; there is no 'real' curriculum guarantee.

There are four advisors on campus. I have met with my advisor several times. If I have a problem, she usually solves it within 24 hours.

My school has a very resourceful library. They also offer tutoring at any time or day that you are available, even at 3am if you needed it. They also provide information about many outside opportunities related to our majors.

My school does not focus entirely on grades but on the skills and clinical aspects we need to know in order to be the best Veterinary Technician we can be. Grades are important but if we cannot do the skills required for our profession then we will not be successful.

Le Cordon Bleu Baking and Pastry Certificate program is all about the kitchen. One day is in the classroom, the other is in the kitchen. With learning how to bake there's quite a bit of math involved. Baker's percentage, costing, conversions, a lot of basic math on the spot. The school gives standard testing in the classes. What the instructor teaches in the classroom and kitchen all reflect whats going to be on the test. Every teacher that I had were amazing. They are some of the greatest chefs that I have ever met. Always there to help in anyway and never hesitated to tutor. The curriculum started to get more intense every six weeks when I had a new class. There was never a time I felt overwhelmed, the teachers and other instructors that were there helped out if I needed it.

I'm in the baking and pastry certificate program. Since the beginning of the program the classes that I've been in all are fantastic. They teach you how to do everything in the baking world. The kitchen is always intense, but I have a passion and desire for what I do. I have grown a lot through Le Cordon Bleu. It just got more exiting with every class that I have been in. From making cookies and pies, to plating desserts and making wedding cakes. The workload was pretty fair, considering all the steps you have to take in making a masterpiece. From day one I was talked to about internship. Le Cordon Bleu is very helpful with job sites and getting your foot in the door.

For the most part, my school contains students that are of working class. However the student body is extremely diverse, but surprisingly everyone gets along very well. i think its the unanimous love of culinary arts that bring us together as one.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Getting signed up for financial aid was relatively easy though I must admit I found it annoying to have already said no to loans and it seemed like I was being force feed so many talks about student loans.

My experiences so far have been good but I feel that some information is at times with held from me while applying. I felt like if everything was out in the open I would've been more opt to feel secure in my decision to enroll sooner.

I have an A current now, I have passed all my tests with a very good grade, I been doing very well with my midterm tests for every class I been in, I show up everyday for participation grades
