Lee College

The student body is mostly non traditional. There are few students that just graduated from high school. This college is way too big for a "community college:.

School's Tuition Is Cheap

The tuition is not bad, but the financial aid office is a joke. THis is my second semester and I got a scholarship both semesters, but this semester no one can seem to tell me where to apply online since the webpage is gone where I applied last year. You have to really want it if you get financial aid other than federal aid which I am not qualified for.

Lee College Is Supposed to Be a Community College but It Isnt

I went to Lee College because it is close to home, and a "community college" and I didnt feel ready for a larger college, so I figured I'd go to Lee then transfer to Lamar after my first two years. Well this college acts like they are a large for year college, they have enough students to be. The staff are not knowledgeable or nice. The teachers, most of them are ok, and I have found a mentor in my field of study, but most of the students are nontraditional and much older than I so I have not found many friends. The parking is a nightmare! and I have received zero guidance about classes to take that will transfer.
