One benefit of going to school in such a diverse city is the wide variety of off-campus dining options. There is a countless number of restaurants in the area within walking distance, all of which offer great food—you can find everything from inexpensive pizza places to fine dining within a few blocks of Lesley. In addition to the usual fare, the area also offers unique dining options such as Ethiopian, Vietnamese, French, Greek, and vegetarian cuisine. Many of the local restaurants are also members of food delivery websites, such as "Dining In" and "Foodler," which allow you to place your order online and then have it delivered to campus.
Some of the local favorites are Gourmet Express, a 24-hour eatery and mini-mart that offers a wide variety of inexpensive sandwiches and burgers, and Cambridge Common, an American restaurant and bar located within a stone’s throw of main campus. Both are reasonably priced and popular with both Lesley students and students from other colleges in the area. Besides great food, the Cambridge area also offers a variety of cafès and specialty drink shops that serve up a wide assortment of tasty and unique beverages. While Harvard Square offers both Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks, there are also many local coffee shops, such as Peet’s Coffee & Tea and Simon’s Coffee Shop, that are known for their high-quality beans and unique flavors. For tea drinkers, heaven comes in the form of Tealuxe, an awesome tea shop offering bubble tea, a local favorite, as well as an endless selection of herbal and fruit-based brews, freshly made and served hot or iced.
