Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Greek life is entirely nonexistent, and everyone on campus wants to keep it that way—no doubt about it. It isn't surprising, either, especially at a liberal arts school (note the word "liberal").

For a lot of students, it is one of the bonuses to coming to the school, not having to worry about fraternities or sororities and all that goes along with them. Greek life would be extremely out of place at a school as liberal as Lewis & Clark. That being said, it doesn't exist, and not a single student would have it any other way.

No Greeks Here.

Lewis and Clark has absolutely no Greek system, and we like to keep it that way! Exclusiveness in groups are not something that is usually seen here.

Facts

Did You Know? Rumor has it, a Lewis & Clark alum gave the school a vast sum of money under two conditions: that the school would serve ice cream at every meal, and that the school would never have Greek life.
