Drugs and Alcohol are not allowed on campus at all. RA's are strict and if a student is caught on or off campus with either, their is a high chance of being expelled. Sometimes empathy is given but a second strike at Liberty is a strike out for sure.

Dorms at Liberty University aren't based on class level like freshman or Seniors. Liberty is a proud Christian university that prides on its beliefs. Originally when I arrived I hated the school, I thought the rules were outrageous. Over my next four years I will grow to love the school. The funny thing is so many people transfer out after freshman year but then miss the school and end up coming back. The school is constantly expanding and support for Athletics as well other extracurricular activities is rival to none. Small town which can be many times boring but you learn to enjoy as crazy as it may sound. Liberty is a relatively young University therefore facilities are rather state of art, including Athletic facilities, classrooms, library and dorms are very much up to date. Partying is not allowed at Liberty, but if you truly looked for it you can sneak in a little just don't get caught.

I registered for Liberty University because of its Master of Science program in Nutrition. My advisors/academic counselors are available when needed to answer any questions or problems I might have as it relates to the coursework.

I received a good amount of aid, because of the military program. The staff was very helpful in walking me through the process, and if anything changed they would notify me.

I did not have any problems getting into the program. All I did was call the school and talk to a counselor, and was taken through the process step by step. I asked a bunch of questions and made sure I was satisfied with all the replies.

I do online classes, and it works well for me because I work full time outside for 7 hours a day. I love being on the computer, and interacting with my teacher and other students. Homework assignments and deadlines are very convenient because you have a whole week to turn them in. All the services they supply are always available, and everyone is very helpful.

My major is Elementary Education, and I am happy with the program, and I have learned a lot of new things. Being a teacher will be the most satisfying goal that I have, because I love being around children of all ages. I have been at my current job for 28 years, so going into education will be a change. Finding a job will be a challenge, but I will not get discouraged if I don't find one right away. Because I know that God will provide all that I need.

It has been stressful at times, being a missionary, and pastor in Nigeria, from Praise chaprl. But all at Liberty University have been helpful, in helping me to continue on in my classes. My instructors have been very understanding, and helpful as well.

Every parking lot has it's pit falls but it is set up well. Students often mistreat it.

Liberty University's campus has 6,819 acres of land. Getting two and from classes can be a challenge if your classes are held in different buildings. Liberty has its own bus transit system that rotates according to time. You simply choose the bus that has your desired destination in its rout and climb aboard. It's simple, easy and convenient.

Health & Safety:
Safety is held in high regard at Liberty University. The school has its own police service. They are constantly keeping an eye out for anything odd and alert the student body by email, phone, or text if something is up. You can call them late at night if you want an escort back to your dorm. At the end of every year, they send out a crime report, and the numbers are always very low for on-campus crime. The dorms are locked with a special device that allows only students with their student ID to get into the building. Safety is not an issue at Liberty.

I've previewed many colleges and was never overly pleased with their choices of dining. It was either too greasy with not enough veggies or not a goof variety. At Liberty, their dining hall has everything from Chinese to Italian. There's Mexican food, desserts, as well as a salad bar. They make a lot of their food on the spot, so it's fresh. Not only is their food excellent, but the staff is extremely friendly as well. I can't think of anything to change at Liberty's dining facilities to make them better!

There are many wonderful places to go hiking at the parks around Liberty University, located in Lynchburg, VA. The Natural Stone Bridge, located in Blue Ridge, Virginia, is a must see and is surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Another good mountain to visit is the Peaks of Otter. Liberty is surrounded by beautiful mountains unlike any other University I've seen. It is simply majestic!
