Very pleasant and organized. No bullying allowed. Very respectful and mindful of student safety awareness.

I'm in the online Graduate program for Professional Counseling. Overall, I've been thrilled with the academics - they are challenging, and far more intensive than any course I've taken on-campus at other Universities. Additionally, the incorporation of a Christian point-of-view is definitely an encouraging foundation for my future in Christian Counseling. My grade of A- reflects one course that failed to incorporate Christ or a Christian world-view; however that may likely due to the professor, and not the course in general. I have yet to begin my internship, and although LU says it has connections for internships regardless where you live, however, I a unsure of the validity of their claim... the only thing I am slightly concerned about. Otherwise, I'm very happy with Liberty University!

The weather can be beautiful, and the winters are generally mild. However the weather can also be bipolar. In one week we went from snow and hail to 80 degrees this spring.

There is a lot of options that are covered by the meal plans. There is the main dining hall, the Bistro, Doc's Diner, Subconnection, Dunkin Donuts, Chickfila, Pizza Hut, Sushi, and a Burger joint all available as on campus dining options covered by the meal plan.

Varsity Sports are huge. Everyone goes to the football games and and tailgates before. Men's hockey games are popular to go to in the fall, and baseball games are popular in the Spring. Our football team one the big South Championship like five years in a row. So they are pretty good, and there is a ton of school spirit.

Lots of affordable restaurants, and most of the ones closest to campus can be paid for with flames cash which are part of your meal plan. A few of the restaurants that are 2 minutes from campus include Chipotle, Panera, Starbucks, Coldstone, as well as several pizzerias.

Again, I'm enrolled online and I live in California. Excellent weather!!

Since its an online campus, I feel no peer pressure at all.

The drug scene is almost non-existent. The only drug I have heard people using is Alcohol and that is off-campus. The policy enforcement is decent on campus with Resident Assistants and Spiritual Life Directors. However, there is no way to enforce the rules off campus. The only way Police would enforce the rules is if students were disturbing the peace or drinking underage.

Guys & Girls:
There are all types of people here on campus. A lot of the guys looks appealing when they are in a collard shirt or suit, but out of class they don't look as good. This is because some ware tank tops and Toms shoes. A lot of the girls dress out of dress code or on the boarder of dress code. Some girls stay in dress code and look beautiful.

Actually, there are no nightlife and parties on campus because the school is Christian-based.

The weather in Lynchburg is extremely, extremely varied. We've had snow in April. The temperature varies, but it can get warm out and nice out by the end of the year.

Different permits are available for students at different prices. However, the better the lot, the more expensive the permit. There are usually spaces available.

There are endless options for eating off-campus in the greater Lynchburg area. Lots of chain restaurants (Panera, Texas Roadhouse, Sonic, Olive Garden, Golden Corral, Chick-fil-a, etc) and a variety of locally owned places as well. Definitely lots of places to choose from!

I lived on east campus my freshman year, and the apartment style living was really nice. I only had to share a room with one person, and we had a living area, our own bathroom and kitchen and plenty of room. We also had our own washer and dryer so we didn't have to tote laundry around, which was really great!

Being in the athletic training program is wonderful. You truly learn a lot and are able to practice what you learn in the clinical sites. The workload does get hard during the junior year but just managing your time will make it easier
College Senior 2013-04-29T22:45:45Z
I have learned a lot and would just try to learn more
College Senior 2013-04-29T22:44:54Z
it is very to hard to use drugs on campus they are not allowed and very serious penalty for using them
College Sophomore 2013-04-29T05:41:17Z
The facilities are alright here at Liberty. There isn't much to do for groups of friends. Some of the only options are to go to the tilly or maybe snowflex.
College Sophomore 2013-04-29T05:37:03Z
Liberty's facilities are pretty good here. I am exited to see the new Library come up, until then, the Library will continue to struggle.
College Sophomore 2013-04-29T05:35:09Z
The housing process is somewhat rigorous, it is difficult to find the right dorm due to distance and facilities.

"The Liberty Way" code of ethics is the strictest I've ever seen. Perfect for an evangelical campus - keeps our focus on Christ! :)
Sorry, there are no reviews.
