As an online student, the academics had a wide variety of classes to choose from, and the classes were reasonably set-up in order to accomplish in 8 weeks all that was assigned. There were a variety of electives to choose from.
The professors were available via email or phone and most responded in a timely manner.

The athletics at Liberty University are really good! The sports complexes are top shape and state of the art! The football team actually made it to the SCC, and the track and field team has won almost all of their events too!

The nightlife at Liberty University is virtually non-existent, because you would get in major trouble if an RA or someone of that nature found out, because it is against the rules to drink and to have parties at LIberty. The thing is though that as long as there are not pictures taken and everyone is of age , and the party is off campus it is not that bad but if you get caught you could possibly get kicked out of school.

You will hardly hear about any drug abuse and when you do it is a really big surprise because not a lot of people use drugs.

This grade is for East Campus. They are the nicest and most spacious. They are the only option for me!!

There's really no tolerance for drugs, alcohol, parties, watching porn, or being promiscuous! If you get caught doing any of these things, you can get kicked out of school. There's a fine line between right and wrong and we are a Christian school, and those things are wrong therefore they can and will be punishable. I do think the parking at Liberty is ridiculous! 200$ a semester for me to park and if I park in the wrong spot at North Campus if I'm running in to get mail or something, I could get towed! And I'm a commuter! I should have better options for the price I pay! They will seriously tow you, no warnings. Also, I had a friend and a guy in her brother dorm didn't like her so he told people she was smoking pot and they cut some of her hair out and tested it! Came back negative but that was a little extreme.

I give it an A because we recently in the past few years have had many new places to eat built. Liberty is in the center of Lynchburg pretty much, and food surrounds us. Anywhere you want to eat is just over the hill. The commute is not long the prices are very fair! The only places I know that offer discounts are Chic-fil-a on Chandlers Mt, Dominoes, Subways, and Mc Donalds. Its about 10% off on average. Off-campus dining gives you a variety of choices! I suggest that you check out CookOut - its new and you get a lot of money for the cheap price you pay!

There are so many different buses on campus and they all have a scheduled time they always pick up and drop off and they all travel to different places! So it's never any confusion when trying to figure out what bus you need to get on to go to a certain place. The drivers are friendly too! Liberty even has buses that go off campus if you live off campus!

Love the spring and summer weather at Liberty! You can always count on it to rain or snow and classes rarely get cancelled when it does snow which makes it difficult for commuters like me with small cars.

I have never been offered a scholarship here and have had to rely on loans.

They have fantastic online classes and degree programs available. Far more than most schools.

For most of the year we call Lynchburg, "Drenchburg". It's not like Lynchburg is Seattle or anything, but it seems to rain often and when least convenient. Those used to Virginia weather will already be aware of the inconsistent weather, especially in the spring. One week, it's hailing. The next, sunny with a high of 75. Bring your rainboots. And your sandals. And your parka. You will need all three.

Thanks to popular school-wide events, Liberty's campus activities are arguably the best in the nation. Student Activities brings in well-known musicians several times a semester for concerts and our once a semester coffeehouse is unlike anything any other school has to offer. Considering Lynchburg's general lack of excitement, LU does a good job of offering students things to do.

There isn't a lot to do here in the area of campus for Liberty but we have our student center and Snowflex!

Everything at Liberty is beautiful! All the facilities are really nice!
College Sophomore 2013-04-17T21:53:13Z
There really isn't a nightlife at Liberty. Our curfew is 12am so we have to be back in our dorms by then or we get in serious trouble. And on Tuesdays our curfew is 10pm because of hall meetings. Once your in hall meeting you cannot leave your dorm.

This school works very hard to make sure that their students can be able to attend school at Liberty
College Sophomore 2013-04-16T22:30:04Z
The community on this Campus is amazing. Everyone is accepted and loved for who they are. The campus is very conservative but we are not going to shun anyone away.God is number one at this school and you can see his love and grace thriving on the hearts of the students including myself.
College Sophomore 2013-04-16T22:18:54Z
There are a lot of different options here with many amenities. Some dorms are more apartment style and others are more traditional.
College Sophomore 2013-04-16T22:17:32Z
There are so many options for off campus housing. They are all close to campus and they are all great options! you will be impressed!

LOLcurfew... Nightlife at Liberty is not the average college nightlife. The bar scene and club scene is almost nonexistent. If you want to party there are parties but if your going to come to a christian university you should know people are thinking about far more important things,
College Junior 2013-04-16T02:37:10Z
It all depends on where you live and what year you are. Personally, for those who don't yet have jobs, like me, the bus saves money. Plus, they're are plenty of people willing to give free rides or help pitch in money for gas.
