The main cafeteria, the rot, isn't the best thing in the world. I've had camp food better, to be honest. But as a college student, you'll eat anything. I have gotten sick a couple of times from rot food, but it wasn't too bad. Excited to move off and not eat here anymore, that's for sure. Any place to eat around the campus that is actually quality is always a bit of a hassle to get, especially you have somewhere to go. Not always the best for commuters either if they don't want to waste money on a meal plan either when they close everything on campus except the rot.

Health & Safety:
Liberty University is very safe and there is never too many crimes we hear about if any. The only thing that disappoints is that the university's police aren't really kind and they usually take a bit to respond to calls.

Overall the campus transportation is reliable. They do offer local convenience for the surrounding local venues and good on campus busing. Zip cars are another option for students without cars.

During the winter it snows a lot and the area is mountainous. It can be difficult to get from place to place unless you live on campus. Summers are warm and the area is close to Virginia Beach (about a 2 hour drive). Spring is very nice and there are nice attractions nearby to visit (Peaks of Otter and Smith Mountain Lake).

There is a very diverse mixture of ethnicities and cultures at Liberty University. Each student is encouraged to express themselves and their culture as individuals, but in a Christian light.

I'm not living on campus, but the school makes everyone sign an agreement to abstain completely from drugs, alcohol, crime etc. they have a no tolerance policy which I assume they enforce pretty strictly bring that Liberty is a conservative Christian school. However, that's always the assumption and may not be the reality.

I attend Liberty University Online. Although I do not get to physically meet my classmates and professors, Liberty's online atmosphere provides plenty of opportunities to interact and discuss important topics, ask questions and challenge one another. Most students and professors have a passion for the subjects which helps the learning environment tremendously. Professors specialize in the field they are teaching and the majority have had years of practical experience with I haven't had a problem with professors getting responding to emails and questions. Most are available by phone as well. One downfall of learning online is the lack of lecture material used. Would be helpful to have more taped lectures to help us audio learners!!

Guys & Girls:
The students, male and female, at Liberty are very nice as a group. They are very kind and helpful and have a community mindset.

Off-campus housing is very easy to find around Liberty University. Small apartment that are ideal for students are easy to find. The only reason I rated it a "B+" is because the pricing is pretty expensive.

There are some good nightlife opportunities at Liberty. Mostly they are for students who are 21 and over of course for alcohol consumption. Liberty takes that very seriously, and I respect that. I think it is a good thing, but there are not very many alternatives for underage students.

Health & Safety:
Liberty University does a fabulous job at making the students feel safe. We have police officers and a doctors office on campus. So whether your emergency be legal or health wise, you are covered easily.

The housing at Liberty is amazing! There is so much to choose from. I would definitely say that depending on your year should be how you choose where you live. Freshman and Sophomores, if you are looking to be in a very social and vibrant environment I would definitely say live on The Hill. It is very central and easily can reach anywhere you need to go within minutes. Now if you are wanting a more private rooming option I would say move onto East Campus. It is more like apartment style living. It just all depends on what you are looking for.

Liberty gives so many dining options. If you are in the mood for pizza, they have pizza. If you want a smoothie, you can have a smoothie. We have larger dining halls like The Rot for when you want to go out with a group of friends, or if you want to grab a bite really quick and head back to your room you can stop by The Hangar. The only reason I didn't give Liberty a higher grade is because a lot of the dining options close really early. If you want a late snack you most likely should go off campus.

I feel like Liberty University gives a variety of options for students to live off campus. Not only a re the options close to campus, they aren't highly priced and they are very high in quality. Lynchberg is also a very safe location so moving off campus is a safe and very good option if you don't want to live on campus.

I am in the Humanities and Art Program. My major is Psychology. The curriculum is good. Not only am I learning how to become a great counselor, but I am also learning how to use my Biblical view alone with the science of my study.

The registration process for student online is simple. But if you have trouble with anything, there is always help by calling the toll free number provided to assist you with the process. The counselor online are great. They don 't rush you, and they always tell you that it is their plesure to help you.

the parking on campus is mainly a first come, first serve basis. your sticker basically doesnt even matter, well it matters in regards to where to park but if you want a front parking space you need to be here like an hour before your class.

I am grateful for the scholorships they have but I wish that Liberty University had more options for scholorships.

I am happy with it. However, they changed my major so I am dissappointed about that.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
