Many great places to eat, many great stores, and all withing walking distance usually. With the new tunnel, everything is much easier to access.

Their are many places to use swipes at so having a meal swipe option is great on campus, only thing is that there are slightly better places to eat off campus but Liberty has you covered by supplying flames cash. With the restaurant tax here, there is no reason to complain about the options where to eat on campus.

You will get fined for any and everything. For example, if your dress is too short you have to pay up to $10, or for watching an R rated movie you pay $50. I suggest you read the "Liberty Way" rules before attending the school.

I am a counseling major at Liberty in the Masters program. The workload is tough at times, but you know you are learning because the teachers require excellence. The teachers are dedicated to really teaching and not just passing students. My only complaint would be the internships are pretty much left to the students to find. They do provide advice on finding internships, but you are left on your own to do so.

I love the facilities on campus. The Library is expansive and all of the people working on campus are ready to help whenever you need it.

Campus housing is beautiful and the amenities are awesome. I especially love the bookstore and Starbucks on campus!

I like the student services and financial aid department. Any time I have a question I can chat with them online, email them, or call them. I never have to wait long for a response and they always make sure all my questions are answered.

Health & Safety:
Liberty tries very hard to keep their students safe. In fact recently I got a text message which is part of their system alerting students to a suspicious person seen in the area. Great measures!

There is a campus police department, LUPD, and I feel safe and secure when I am on campus late at night.

It is sarn expensive to park on campus. It is $400 a year for zone one $200 a year for zone two and then $30 a year for zone three that is SUPER far away from campus!

Lu could use more parking that is not a mile away from campus in the zone three parking. It in inconvenient to have to park, wait for the bus, then walk through the tunnel to get to my classes.

I have never ate on campus but here the dinning hall is terrible.

Liberty does not offer parties or a bar scene so the nightlife is very different compared to most universities. However, LU has done a great job of creating FUN activities for students that are clean and wholesome.

I am extremely happy with my program because I transferred to Liberty for this. It is everything I needed and more. I desire to own a fashion boutique or become a fashion stylist. I am not concerned about finding a job because I believe I will actually create my dream job.

I greatly enjoy my program at Liberty University because attending a Christian university gives a different take on fashion and the industry. Attending a top previous university for fashion merchandising taught me to claw my way to the top to succeed and make sure I get myself where I need to be in life. Liberty teaches that having the right skills and dedication, God can open any door to have a dream job in fashion that doesn't require unethical behavior.

There is a local mall and other restaurants such as Cracker barrel and Red Lobster. There is a walmart that can be reached through a tunnel that is built for liberty students to walk through.

Guys & Girls:
There are a lot of couples on campus. Students dress like everyone else would at other universities and most keep with the trends, except we have a dress code where we can't wear sweats to class but can wear any other type of pants. If skirts/dresses are worn, they have to be right above the knee and guys have to wear a collared shirt. After 4, you can dress down in sweats as long as it's modest and in dress code!

It's very close to my classes. I live on the hill and it only takes me 5 minutes tops to get to my class..so beats driving because traffic on campus is horrible since we are the Largest Christian Univeristy in the World!

It rains a lot, so bring a rain jacket!! Also the weather can be bipolar..it changes all the time so bring warm and cold clothes in each season! But I love Liberty so it doesn't make me change my opinion of the school!

The most notable thing that campus lacks is the emergency call boxes. Liberty could benefit greatly from those call boxes, especially in the bottom of the parking lots. Other than that, campus feels very safe. LUPD are very responsive if you ask them to come out and check on something.
College Sophomore 2012-11-13T21:29:33Z
Campus life is pretty great! We have great athletic facilities and great learning facilities. The thing that Liberty could benefit from most would be if there were more coed hangout places on campus. Like perhaps a common area at the bottom of each dorm. Other than that, Liberty's facilities are top notch and only getting better!

I didn't face any real challenges in getting into this program. I had earned my associate's degree through a correspondence program and had no trouble transferring the credits over. The whole registration process was simple for me to figure out. I'm hoping it will be this way for each subsequent term.
College Junior 2012-11-13T07:07:29Z
I haven't actually started my classes yet, but I'm very happy with the registration process. Even the financial aid process has been very smooth for me. I heard lots of negative stories about Financial Aid but haven't experienced anything negative yet.
College Senior 2012-11-12T21:59:49Z
I am very satisfied with the financial assistance I receive here. You can always meet with a financial aid representative if you have questions or a special need.

Still warm here and it's November! From what I hear, winter is usually mild, with occasional snow.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
