It has been the number on issue in wanting to attend Liberty University. I have sensed God telling me that it'll be taken care of but I can not help but fret a little when I know that I have to pay probably at least 20 thousand a year. Fafsa will help me out hopefully, and my grades could be better for sure, so I'm not planning on getting much of an academic scholarship. Other than that, I am applying for sweet scholarships like this and hopefully receiving them to further my education and get the degrees I would like to possess!

I do not live off-campus personally, but I visit friends off campus all the time. They say that you can get a good, close spot if you get it just right time wise. There are many spots close to campus, and there are really awesome spots further away from campus too. If you manage your time right, it's worth it regardless. The pricing has never been complained about to me by any of my friends off campus.

There are really plenty of computers on campus. Most people have there own. There are Mac Desktops if one wants to use them opposed to Windows. There are printing stations that are pretty efficient and quick.

The earlier you get started with the process the better. My advisor explained all of this to me and I was made aware of the paperwork needed to obtain my loans on time. The call center requires some patience at times because there are so many people calling in with questions, but you most times my questions are always answered, by someone who was professional and timely.

I personally have NEVER experienced drugs on this campus, nor peer pressure to do such things. Liberty is an overall clean campus, and such rules are heavily enforced.

I guess to the worldly standards Liberty stinks in this department, but I personally like not having parties and doing illegal things. I have good clean fun, and it does not involve illegal activity.

I am very pleased with my courses at Liberty University Online. I believe I made the best choice and I would choose LUO if I had to do it all over again. I would like to be an Asset Manager when I complete my degree. The thought of not being able to find a job has crossed my mind but I’m not too concerned. I know I will be prepared for whatever the future has to offer.

I attend online classes so the weather does not affect me.

I am glad that the school increased a lot of computers this year. So it is much better but the internet quality is not that good. It is slow. Also Liberty controls your access to certain websites because it is a conservative school. I dont mind if they restrain unappropriate sites but they sometimes denies access to some internation websites that has no problems.

I am majoring in Human Resource in Liberty University. I like the courses and the workload is a lot that really makes you learn. But the school is not investing in this major and there is only one professor for our major. It is hard to benefit from having only one professor because she is constantly busy!

As freshman its good for making friends, getting to know the school and getting information about school life. Also, attending convos and having prayer groups can be a benefit but it is cheaper to go off campus in Lynchburg.

Health & Safety:
Totally Safe – Our school is the biggest christian school in the world. We have curfew and certain rules to keep us and our students safe. Also the police on campus are always there to help us when we need them.

To be honest, I can say that the school is trying hard to advance in academics but still it does not have competitive programs.

Many attractions within comfortable driving distance

LU is surrounded by every dining option you can imagine, from sit-down to drive through. You can get anything you want. There are several restaurants on campus, also

The buses are convenient around campus, and there are buses all over the city. These are really the only public transportation available, but since it is a small city, it is okay
College Senior 2012-10-27T03:24:38Z
The bus network on Liberty University is free and takes you all around campus to include your dorms. If you live off campus Liberty has certain pick up locations that you can park your car and ride in to school. This service is also free of charge and runs on a set schedule.

Liberty University has 2 different floors with a ton of computers, and if you have a laptop they have WiFi through out the entire school. I have ever never had any issues connecting to the network and the speed is pretty fast. Having a personal laptop is always better, however Liberty University has plenty of computers for you to work on. They also have various printers stations on each floor that allows quick easy printing.

There are all kinds of things available for the students to do on campus. Beach volleyball courts, a gym, snowflex (a snowboarding, skiing and tubing place), a library, a hang-out place, basketball courts, an ice skating rink, etc. There are always athletic events to go to, including football. There are also many clubs that you can get involved in, and many of the clubs do activities all of the time outside of the campus.

Because we have a curfew there really isn't much of a night life, at least for the people who follow rules. The only place you can really go to is the computer lab to hang out with your friends, or to apartments of friends who live off-campus. The transportation is good, however. Buses that run all the way up til 2 in the morning and go all over campus.
College Junior 2012-10-25T19:27:45Z
My school has amazing professors and advisers that are there to assist you, and the programs are fantastic. The facilities are all clean and up to date, and the people who help to take care of it do a wonderful job. However, there are many rules that bother many of the students. We have a curfew, we aren't allowed to go into the dorms of people of the opposite sex, and we aren't allowed to watch rated R movies.

Taking courses for my program is a challenge with some rewards. work can be easy and hard. Most teachers are easy going and some teachers are stick. Work can be hard but with help if need be you can get through it successfully.

Liberty's Campus is overwhelmingly warming and loving!

Business, Psychology, Communication, and Seminary are the most popular fields of study. The professors, curriculum, and registration process are excellent. The workload is heavy. I'm part-time with classes and full time with job.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
