Local Attitude Toward Students – During my time as a resident student I always found the locals to be very friendly and welcoming. Some of the restaurants also give discounts for being a college student.

Liberty University is a Christian college and therefore does not support fraternity and/or sorority participation.

It is no secret on campus, that all residential students are closely monitored by locals, looking for them to slip up. At times it can seem convient to keep university connections to one's self. However, until you move off campus or excessively hang out with off-campus students, you'll never find the numerous lovely local shops and restaurants. Unless surrounding the immediate campus vicinity, locals do not attempt to advertise or charter to liberty students.

Relatively No Problems – Though many other peers noted having issues with financial aid. I did not experience similar situations; possibly because all of my scholarship were through military aid. I did not receive any scholarship money from Liberty because of this. However, the process for financial check-in, despite recent modifications, is no cake walk especially if one needs to make changes or information was processed incorrectly.

Liberty sets high standards on education. Their professors are very intellegent and more than capable in their disciplines.

Haven't Dined There – I am an oline student and have yet to even visit Liberty. I will be going there next spring to my graduation, maybe I try some of their dining establishments then.

Not Sure? I'm an online student, so my assumptions are based on "sight unseen".
My conversations and communication with students are only through the internet

LEO Experience – Working with DOJ this summer was awesome! I was able to learn so much! It was unpaid, but most government interns are unpaid. It will lead to a job after graduation. I feel being at Liberty was a huge part to my acceptance in the internship!

I Enrolled as an Online Student – I have not had the opportunity as of yet to visit the University Campus. My own computers work just fine and Liberty gives me access beyond all that I need.

Good Learning Experience – The business major is popular, but as the courses get tougher the classes become less populated as the students drop out which is nice, and the courses are intriguing.

The professors at Liberty are interested in the subjects they teach. They have good lectures to offer while backing the information up with plenty of experience. They give a good work load and you know what to expect because they all give a syllabus on what the course load will include.

The housing at LU is expensive, and it will cost about an extra $2000 per year to live on campus then off, but the convenience is invaluable and on campus life gives access to countless activities the University offers.

I don't know how they are, but a college I have attended on the west coast was crowded and the parking situation was difficult.

Just Beginning – My program is done primarily online. Admissions representatives were able to suggest which classes to take, and also helped me determine a workload that will work best for me. 4 weeks of my program will require being on campus, so this program is the best option for me since I work full-time.

There were a wide range of programs to choose from for graduate studies, and registration was very easy. I was contacted by school admissions and they did my application over the phone, and after I had been accepted into the program they were also able to make suggestions of class workload and the order in which to take classes. They even registered me for classes over the phone. All in all, it was very pleasant.
