Go for it!! Liberty Theological Seminary is thorough preparation for the work of ministry. The process of getting into the program is not difficult, and the most important criteria is your desire to have a closer relationship to the Lord.

Guys & Girls:
Known to Attractive – You see attractive people everywhere coming from all over the country, from the guy with cowboy boots from texas to the guy from new york always dressing in a vest & tie. Most students have a few main interests besides studies such as weekend volunteer work for different ministries.Everyone is very friendly, specially if their from the south. As far as relationships go most couples have a great relationship based on God centered living. It's almost sickening how adorable they are sometimes.

Health & Safety:
Always on the Safe Side – Campus police patrol the entire campus 24/7. RA who are out late will make sure you're back in your dorm by curfew. The security guards are constantly roaming around and checking doors and will walk you back to your dorm if asked.
College Junior 2012-06-22T21:39:47Z
School buses are constantly running at least every twenty minutes on campus until 2 am. If you need to be picked up after 2 am, you can call the Liberty Univertiy Police Department and they will come pick you up and escort you back to your dorm.

I am so thankful for my experience at Liberty University! I transferred to Liberty from another VA school and I wouldn't change that decision for the world. I have never felt so challenged, encouraged, and involved at any other point in my life. Liberty becomes home to all those who set foot on the campus. :)

Working With You for Payment – My son wanted to do ROTC but because you have to be signed up for class before you can join the ROTC to help pay for college it was very hard on coming up with the money to pay for the class specially since we are homeless at the time and they kept saying we made to much money. We are below proverty level here in our county but we make more then 20,000 with is the US proverty level. They need to take in account on were the student is coming from before they discount everything

Check in – I have not gone to campus yet so I am not sure what it is like but they have been helpful to me on trying to get signed up.

Teacher Program – I'm in the teacher education program at Liberty. For the most part it's been really good. The teachers have been awesome, with the exception of one or two. It's pretty expensive to get into the program; it's going to be at least $400!! There is a lot of work involved in some of the courses but it's worth it.

Football Is HUGE – The football program at Liberty is a big deal on campus! We recently had a new stadium built that is one of the center points on campus. Our NCAA Div.1 team has won the Big South Conference for several years and we keep getting better.

Student Teaching – I never quite started any internships, since I transfer to Liberty and changed my major. I do plan on joining in on internships to help better myself in my flied of education later on. I do not have any concerns for finding any internship because Liberty is very good at providing internships for thier students.

A Place for Everyone – Liberty offers a few different residential options. There is South Campus (the quads) where students are an extension of main campus with two floors that are connected and share a common room and kitchen. Main Campus is is the cheapest in cost. The Circle is main and is often teased, being called "trailor trash" because the dorms were the first built on campus and are not as nice as others. The Circle offers an amazing community atmosphere for brother and sister dorms to play games and interact with one another. The Hill is also main campus and is central to all attractions on campus. These Hill students are often categorized as the "sporty kids". East Campus is the most expensive housing on campus, they are apartment style living. East kids are known for being "rich kids". East has volleyball courts, a pool, theater room, and clubhouse with dining option. Finally, there is The Annex (The Inn). The Inn is off campus a few miles and has regular shuttles to drop/pick up students. The Inn is an old motel that was renovated into dorms for the university and is often overlooked my students looking at Liberty. While The Inn is far away the students that live there have a great bond. The Inn has its own baby Rot (small version of the dining hall on campus), a pool, and a volleyball net.
There is truly a place for everyone in regards to Liberty's Housing.

Liberty has many restaurants extremely close to the school because the majority of students do not have cars. We have a wide variety of dining options ranging for cheap student hubs to fine four star dining a few mines away. Lynburg does have the highest food tax in the nation as a downfall with almost no student discounts available. Students have a meal plan that includes "Flames Cash" which many locals dining establishments will allow students to use.

Liberty is not about nightlife. We are a conservative Christian school with strict rules and a curfew. There are bars and clubs in the area, but students are prohibited from drinking. We do have options for students to be out late studying in the computer labs or in the Tilley Student Union until 2am on weekends, and 2am during the week days in regards to the computer labs.
Our lack of "nightlife" isn't a problem though. Students on campus are more than able to make up interesting activities an games to keep ourselves entertained until curfew.

Soon to Come – This is my second year that I will be on campus, but after this year will try to get approved to move off. I have various friends that have moved off and find it to be MUCH cheaper than on-campus living. The only cons would be having to driving back and forth each day, but even then, the gas doesn't outweigh the savings from living off.
College Junior 2012-06-13T15:34:51Z
Tight Fit – The ticketing and fines are pretty intense, so make sure you park where you're supposed to! Available parking varies throughout the week, and with a lot of construction and campus changes, parking regulations are changing rather often right now.

I Would Have Paid! The financial aid process was a breeze at Liberty compared to some other colleges I had applied for. The finical aid office not only walked me through the whole process, they were very kind when doing so. I am very satisfied with the financial aid I received because it has a good amount of my schooling. Liberty University worked with me and the delays I had on my FASFA due to other issues ,and I was still able to enroll in classes once everything was taking care of rather than waiting until the next semester.
College Senior 2012-06-12T16:13:27Z
Easily Done – Applying and becoming a student at Liberty University is the main reason I chose to attend; not only did they provide informative information that was easy to access, they made the enrollment process quick and simple. I was able to review multiple options, and their by phone department was easy accessible. The school answered all my questions politely, I thought the customer service was superb.

Great Professors Who Care About Your Success. I had great professors who cared and gave feedback way beyond the norm. They offered personal encouragement and direction. I received high quality instruction. There is a lot of academic freedom. There is a lot of open and critical dialogue between the students and professors. This baccalaureate has equipped me for ministry in the Christian faith and helped build my Christian worldview.

I have had a very positive experience at Liberty. I love my classes and the work has been pretty intense but not unmanagable. You have to be self-motivated as with any college but I love it here. The christian based perspective is exactly what I was looking for. The classes teach the required curriculum but you also get a christian slant on it as well. I would definately choose Liberty again if I had to do it over.
College Junior 2012-06-10T01:22:20Z
Very Easy – I actually switched my major from a Master's in Licensed Professional Counseling to an MAT in Special Education and the transition was extremely easy. There was not major application process and the classes are difficult but not unmanagable. There was no essay requirements for admission into the program and there is no dissertation requirement at the end.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
