Not Bad – Weather can be spastic at times but there are always options if its a nice rainy/stormy day.

Constantly improving the campus. About to have the most advanced library in the U.S.

Enough attractions to keep you busy on the weekends. Plenty of restaurants to go out and have a nice date or just good time with friends.

It rains a lot here but people get used to it. It's only snowed once this year but classes got cancelled so that was great. It depends on where you live on campus which could make your experience worse in these conditions, where I'm located, weather really isn't a huge issue.

I think that most students at Liberty are supportive of our athletic teams but they might not go to watch every sporting event. The IM teams here are very popular and I know most of my friends play at leas on one or two. I think that Liberty puts a lot into their athletic facilities, but our sports like football and basketball might not be as good as we hoped.

The Computer Lab – I really love how there is internet everywhere on campus, it's so convenient. The wireless isn't the strongest though. The computer lab is accessible and I love the quiet study zones. The only problem is that it's usually crowded and it's annoying when you really need to print something. I really like how the printing system is set up though.

Greek life is obsolete at Liberty University but it not needed. There are plenty of activities on campus that one can get involved in.

East Campus Facilities Rock – The east campus dorms are great! They are beautifully designed 3 bedroom apartments with great amenities. The cost is extremely high and the dorm/apartments are across a major highway from the classrooms. I would however prefer that than the housing on the campus! There are positive and negatives to the social atmosphere. The brother and sister dorms have planned activities, there is a mandatory prayer meeting and other mandatory events. Depending on the people in the apartments it can be noisy and invasive. There are way too many rules and people get called down for having fun. Guys love to wrestle and play pranks and big brother is always watching over to keep a tight ship running. I now live off campus and love the atmosphere as well as the neighboring people. It is a beautiful complex with a workout facility and nestled into its surroundings.

Much to Be Desired – Overall Lynchburg, Virginia is a historical town with little to do for the college student. It has some attractive features and the parks are beautiful with great walking trails. Most of the points of interest require driving anywhere from 20 - 45 minutes away.

The curriculum at Liberty is fast-paced with a lot of assignments. You cover a lot of ground in a small amount of time. The professors are great and care for their students. However, I feel that academically that Liberty is lacking. I feel that I am not learning as much as I should. Additionally, many of the professors only have Masters degrees rather than doctorate degrees.

The athletics department is pretty popular at Liberty University. The team performance gives a good name for Liberty and our athletics tend to play the game fair and honestly. The fan support is something you can only experience at Liberty University, it is magnificent. The athletic facilities are pretty nice, and seem to be kept clean. I enjoy the athletic events at Liberty University.

The Hill – I absolutely love living on campus. Living on campus gives me the opportunity to make relationships with the girls on my hall of approximately 70. The Hill is the dorm name of where I live and it is also referred to as main campus because it is in the middle of campus and close to anywhere I need to go. The cost is not too high and it is very convenient. The social atmosphere could not be better as it is so close to everything and there are other dorms around that we are also able to hang with.

To be a psychology major at Liberty University gives an excellent way to experience many aspects of what we could be performing after we graduate and take on our careers. There is a Psycomm club we can join, there is also the psychology club, and there are also what we call Psych Activities; which include conferences of speakers coming to talk about a specific consentration of the major, or pancakes one morning for students who would like one. Psychology is a great degree to have at Liberty University.

Health & Safety:
Very Safe Enviorment – When I visited the school for "College for a Weekend", I felt extremly safe and walked around by myself most of the time. It was a great atmosphere and you felt safe everywhere you went.

A Breeze – Financial aid was a smooth process, they even have options for free money for grad students. But you have to do your research, bc grad students like myself are piled up with loans.
College Senior 2012-02-26T18:08:52Z
Professors, Administrative Staff – Registration was a breeze. I was contacted almost everyday to make sure that I had my materials and things together to start. I should be the one contacting everyday because its my education. Staff and professors show a genuine love and care for the students.

Is Towns Teaching Greek? There is no Greek life at LU unless you are studying the language :D

Guys & Girls:
The Guys Are Hot – The Guys at Lu are really cute. Most of them are from the south and are country boys. There are a lot of southern accents, football players and future pastors so if that's your thing, you'll like Liberty guys!

Although there were a few crimes on campus including theft and rape, that could have been avoided. I typically felt safe.

Ward's Road Options – Directly behind Liberty University is Ward's road. Ward's road contains any type of cuisine you could possibly imagine. Anything from Buffalo Wild Wings to authentic Mexican. Everything is convenient and close by the school. There are also many options further away from campus, but the more popular places are located directly behind campus.
College Sophomore 2012-02-22T03:34:13Z
I haven't had any problems with transportation around LU. There are buses running almost all the time which makes it really easy to get around. Not having a car really isn't a huge problem because you can always get a bus or have a friend drive you around.

Living on Campus Is Great! I love being on campus. There are many different housing/dorm options which makes it easy to find the right fit for you. There isn't really a struggle with "freshman" and "upper class" dorms, you can pretty much choose wherever you want to live on campus and as long as it isn't full you're in! Campus East is especially nice if you want a real apartment feel. Having your own washing machine and dryer makes doing laundry so much easier! The only down side to Campus East is it is a little far from everything on campus. If you want something closer to everything on campus you can live in the Hill or Main Campus.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
