The career services people are very helpful, there are job postings all over campus and they are always willing to help.

Overall, I love LLCC. Especially for it being so small.

The campus is slowly being updated parts are old and parts are really new and state of the art.

This IS a community college so many students are there to jus get in and get out. Not many are there to form friendships and relationships so it can feel sort of lonely if you don't already know people there. The dining is terrible we only have a subway downstairs and it's always packed with a 20 minute or so line. The student activity stuff is cool though. From time to time they are serving free food and giving free stuff out in the commons.

Many computer labs around the school but they are often full. I use my own laptop and the internet wifi is excellent. finding a printer that doesn't cost you is next to impossible.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have heard of some Financial Aid being available, but must be applied for a year in advance which is very inconvenient.
College Sophomore 2013-09-24T03:29:07Z
I've taken many online classes here. They were extremely essay and not very helpful in increasing my knowledge on the subject.
College Sophomore 2013-09-24T03:26:13Z
They were not as helpful as they should be, most students are not even aware this service is an option.
College Senior 2013-08-19T19:29:59Z
I am not familiar with any post-grad services at my school.

I really enjoy the ease and convenience of a community college. The price is considerably low compared to surrounding schools which is great. But I have lived on my own for over a year now and I am trying to fund my education myself but it is extremely difficult without any financial aid. At times I have had to maybe reconsider my schooling options.

LLCC specializes in career development. They have a lot of students that get a certificate, versus a degree, which will help advance their career. In addition to a career development department (which will help you find a job and help you write your resume), LLCC has built a brand new building on campus. This building offers truck driver training, a hospitality and culinary certificate, and other job specific trades.

There are a lot of online and nontraditional students at LLCC, which provides for a wide age range of students.Because there are no dorms and it is a commuter campus, there is not a lot of student interaction. The school tries to sponsor events, but they never go over very well. A lot of LLCC students are older and have a job, but are going back to school for various reasons. Because they are busy with their jobs and families, they come to school to learn, but then have leave quickly, leaving little time for interaction.

Overall, I chose LLCC because it was inexpensive, close to home, and convenient. I was not disappointed with my experience there, but would say that nothing set LLCC apart in comparison with other community colleges. Also, I had several issues with the advising department. I spoke with three advisers, asked the same questions, and received three different answers. Registering for classes quickly became a complicated process.

Professor really go out of their way to help the students. They sit down with you to review until you can understand.
College Senior 2013-07-12T17:49:45Z
More focused. A lot of hands on that is great! This program is only offered at this school and it has more of a heavy workload. Even though the class is small some of us have already started working in the field.
College Senior 2013-07-12T17:46:58Z
When ever I had a question of problem I could talk my teacher and work it out.
