Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Most off-campus restaurants are fairly good and located within walking distance. The majority of the restaurants is mostly on Third Street, which is considered downtown McMinnville. The options include McMenamins Pub and 3rd Street Pizza (which also has a movie theatre, so students can catch a movie while eating hot delicious pizza). Other student favorites include Thai Country, Tequila Grill, Los Molcajetes, Ruby Tuesday, and Haagenson's Ribslayer, which are all reasonably priced.

Two other restaurants, Shari's and Muchas Gracias, are also convenient for students looking for a place to eat after-hours. A terrific restaurant is Bistro Maison, which features delicious food and great service. The vegetables at this restaurant are locally grown, and fresh salmon is served. The ambience is nice, both inside and outside in the patio space. La Rambla is also a fantastic restaurant that serves mouth-watering food and is definitely one of the restaurants to go to when parents are in town.

Tasty and Afforadable

There are quite a few tasty and affordable options. There are a few options for nice dinners and a lot of casual dining options. The variety is a bit lacking, but you can find American, Chinese, and Mexican for a pretty good price.

3Rd Street

In MicMinnville Or, there's a well known street called 3rd Street. That's where a lot of the restuarants can be found and little shops like boutiques. A lot of the food in that area is really good and there's quite a bit of variety as well. Having food easily accesible and shopping too makes it easy to have something fun to do. Or to even just walk 3rd Street and explore.

Food Is Good but Pricey

There are some great little places in Mac, but most of them are way outside the budget of college kids. the Pizza on 3rd street is amazing, but gets spendy. the ice cream shop is awesome, but 5 dollars for a large dish....not great for students. everything else is much to spendy to go to very often.
