Acceptable

I dont qualify for a lot of money. They gave me a 12000 scholarship every years, for four years. But with college costing 42,000 a year it only helps so much. They wont let me move off campus to try and save money because I dont have the "right" type of loans even though I have taken out as much as the bank will let me at this point and plan to take out more each year.

Financial Aid

Linfield gave me amazing financial aid. I do have to take out student loans, but that would be the case no matter where I went. The fact of the matter is, school is expensive across the board. However, I applied to many state schools and private schools and Linfield came back with the best aid. I participated in the competitive scholarship day, and not everyone gets something but if you choose a random area to test in, you are more likely to get a scholarship. I took the French test and there were only 6 people in my group, I got first place, but basically there was a 50% chance I would get something.

Helpful

Linfield was not my first college choice, but I went there because of the financial aid they gave me. As a private school they have offered more money than any other I have seen, and a lot was need based and also academic based and wasn't a hassle
