My school has buses that will take you between Albany and Corvallis which is very convenient for many students. Personally, I can't use this because I live far enough outside of town that the bus isn't close enough for me to get to. Another nice thing is that if you are a student you can ride the Albany City Buses for free if you present your Student ID card to the bus driver. There are a lot of extracurricular activities and clubs, but they don't seem to be making an effort to attract members. I have seen little signs around campus by pure accident, but haven't seen any real effort.

Overall I feel that the flexibility of class schedules is great. There are generally more than one class for each subject so you have multiple options. Lately though, I feel that the schedule has become more rigid. They aren't offering as many classes as they used to, so it's harder to fit the required classes into the times I have available.

I haven't used the Career Services at LB very much so I don't have a basis to grade this aspect.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education and tuition are a good match up. Financial Aid is very helpful to pay for the expenses. The hardest part with financial aid is that they don't always tell you which requirements you have that year. Last year I had a run in with financial aid because they needed to have my guardianship papers (which have already been turned in) but they didn't ask for them until December, and by that time I didn't have time to find, copy, and turn them in. Try to keep up with what requirements you have as quickly as possible.

The student body and my school is very diverse in types and ages. Mostly everyone is very helpful, informative, and friendly.

I have some physical difficulties and when I applied to attend LBCC, they set me up with the Disability services. I was completely amazed at what they did for me. My course advisor assisted me with restructuring my classes to suit my needs. I am getting very spoiled by all at LBCC!

There are many maps displayed throughout the campus to help students locate what they are searching for. This campus is well equipped with a gym, weight room etc., student center, library, advertisements of events as well as many helpful faculty.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I had a fairly easy time getting my financial aid sent through.

From the people I have met, they are all very nice. Most are like me, going back to school to further my education.

The campus is amazing, there are so many things to do there. My favorite thing is the learning center the staff there are so nice and helpful.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Financial aid is always difficult but once you get in touch with the right people and learn the ropes its easy breezy. just learn to use the colleges website.

The resources aren't bad, they have a great library and learning center but not many computers and at the other campuses there isn't very many resources but the people are so helpful!
College Senior 2013-02-04T04:35:19Z
So far the Math courses are fairly easy and straightforward. The syllabus is written clearly. It much easier to not have to drive to classes. Also the Writing class labs are mostly do-it-yourself. Personally I would prefer more hands on help because I am not the best writer.

I haven't officially made my major the AAOT because they still haven't evaluated my transcripts properly.
College Junior 2013-02-02T00:26:46Z
They have a lot of programs set up to help students.
College Junior 2013-02-02T00:25:48Z
They still haven't re-evaluated my transcripts. They lumped all my credits together so they don't apply to any degree. The office staff is less than helpful most of the time. The financial aid office lady is really nice and helpful though. The teachers I've had are friendly and helpful as well. I chose LBCC because of proximity to work and home.

I will put a B, because I do not visit the main campus all that much.
I have been to Takena Hall, the Learning Center and the Bookstore, not much else
College Senior 2013-01-31T19:04:45Z
I have mostly good things to say about he resources. the Learning center is very strict as far as testing goes. I suppose they should be being that it is the main campus.
My experience at SHC has been very relaxed when taking tests (specifically math)
Not that it's a bad thing.
College Senior 2013-01-31T19:02:27Z
I can't say anything negative about the college. I spend most of my time at the SHC or Lebanon Center. I go to Albany when I need to do something specific for my classes. I have found a neat and orderly campus, with very helpful staff and student aids.

I am trying to be a veterinarian major. I'm still a freshman and have only been taking my general education classes, but it's great! love it here!

The learning center that is provided for all students has a large computer lab that is available for all to use. There is a math help desk provided for anyone who has a question, as well as a writing center that you can just use the computers to type your essays or gain personal feedback from one of the staff on site. There are multiples cafes on campus as well, with even a high quality student run restaurant on site. The library has many textbooks available on hand if you need to borrow one.
College Sophomore 2013-01-23T22:28:08Z
The wireless access available on campus is fairly reliable, though you must be a student to sign into to use it. The computer labs available on campus are fairly large and located at various places on the campus with the most notable being the ones in the learning center and the library. Though the computers in the labs occasionally stop responding and the computer usually sorts out the problem for itself fairly quickly. You have to pay to print on campus but the the expense is minimal.

unsure about post grad services. I did however go in there for part time work while in school and was directed to the internet.

Online classes work well for people who are self disciplined
College Sophomore 2012-12-22T07:18:38Z
I give this grade because everything here is up to date and offer an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. They also provide several different study areas both quiet and noisy and two different cafeterias. Teachers and Staff alike are always offering advice and have a genuine concern for their students. My only complaint is the quality of fast-speed internet available in some of the classes I took. Lectures were delayed or slowed due to the necessity of being online which became painfully slow to sit through. Fellow classmates and I sat there for a good 2-3 mins before the next website popped up to which point we would have to move on in the lecture.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
