Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is very reasonable and I applied for financial aid and they distribute the money in 2 weeks so i can not comment on that. I got everything in for financial aid before school so that I wouldn't have to scrounge around and wait in line on freshman orientation day. I believe it is important to do that on time.

I really enjoy my major that I'm in. It's pretty diverse so I'm learning a lot about various things which I believe will somehow be helpful to the field I want to be in. The workload so far is decent. I try to utilize the facilities which are helpful.

I'm actually not sure how the Career Services are at the school. This is my first semester so my answer would not be helpful.

The computer network at my school is pretty good. The library has a lot of computers open to students (and non-students) so I'm always guaranteed a computer. There is also a computer lab in the Driftwood Lodges (where most of the classes are) and there might be a few but I'm not too sure. There is another one too in the Student Union Building but I'm not too sure what all the restrictions are if they're only for class or general use. The wireless connection is pretty good for the most part. The fastest internet you will get is in the Driftwood Lodges and the Student Union Building. The library tends to be slow sometimes probably due to the amount of students who use it. Printing is free but to copy it costs you less than a dollar I believe. If you would like to sit on the couches like I do instead of sitting at a desktop for a long time, I would recommend getting a laptop.

I think the Student Body at Little Bighorn is diverse in many ways. You have parents who go to school together, single parents, people who are older, fresh out of high-school all at school together. Some of them seem not to take it too seriously and seem not to care much but there is that group that take it as a stepping stone to reach their education and career goals. A lot of students I know personally face the same issues I have faced and am facing. I believe that there is a connection in that way. They are all very smart students but don't say too much in class.

I think one thing that may set it apart from other schools is the culture. Being that most of the students are Native American and in one way or another are related, I think the connection is that much greater. I have a lot of relatives at the school within the staff and student body who are very helpful and are understanding of the challenges I face.

I think it's a good school so far. Teachers are lenient to an extent. The work is pretty basic so far. The facilities are not too bad. I think the Student Union Building could use some work though. The library is nice, good, quiet place to study. The teachers (or the one's I have) are engaged and want to help but sometimes, it seems the students (and me, sometimes) don't utilize it. I feel LBHC is a good start to my college career. I am really enjoying it so far and because I'm from around the area, it's awesome being connected with all my family within the school.

Good Start So Far! My experience at Little Big Horn College so far has been great. I have good classes this spring semester and last fall semester 2011 my classes were also good. Here at LBHC the professors know you by your first name rather than starting out being just a number at a bigger college or university. I am glad that I started out at a two-year college as my first choice in a school.

William Jewell...Eh – It's an okay place to be if you really want it to be. I transferred after my first semester. WJC lacks in every category you can imagine. The social scene is non-existent (i'm not just talking about parties). Sports are an absolute JOKE. The dorms are less than ideal but are the best part. Dining....horrible. Make sure you fully evaluate the school before you go. Oh...and the "Harvard of the midwest" title that they claim...complete lie. I had a 4.0 my first semester with little to no difficulty.

Taught Me a Lesson – I started here about 6yrs ago and never finished. They gave me the chance to work off my old bill and continue my degree. I applaud them for that!!! My schedule is great, it works around my kids schedules which is very important.

I have not been in the position as of yet to seek these services from the school. But I do feel that the employees at teh career center would be helpful if asked for assistance

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Very Good – The financial aid office was very helpful and non-threatening. The value of the credits that I am receiving is well worth the cost of the credits.

Here at LBHC we are very lucky to have small classes and professores that are willing to work with you. If someone misses a class or there is a community event, we all get involved. That makes very flexible and fun to join all the clubs, different social events as well as community events. I havne't tranfered yet but I will soon, so I can't really get into that aspect of the this question.

My Scool – The differnce between the college I attend and the numerous colleges around the country is here we are one big family. People don't get excluded because of their looks, their social status, their family background. Everybody looks out for each other and helps one another even if it is just a simple paper, or someone needs a gas money. Our college is unique in the way we as Native Americans hold onto our culture, we have a clan system we are born into and that is incorporated into our collegiate life as well. I never heard of any other college that strives to make a difference on every students life. Whether it's through the campus daycare, our new cafeteria, even our transportation. I am very honored and proud to call this college MY college. Not Because of the things I have mentioned but because of what this college stands for and how the college pushes each and every one of us to be who we want to. That is what is unique about my college.
