The policies are definitely taken seriously, but no body is going around looking to get people in trouble. Be smart and you will be fine.

Longwood is strict when it comes to enforcing parking, underage alcohol consumption, and drug abuse. They're a little more lenient on visitation rules and 21+ drinking though.

The police here on campus can be strict if the time calls for it. If you are making a public announcement of underage drinking, which oddly a good amount of students do, you will get caught, and if you try to be discrete and the night goes on uneventful you have a good chance of avoiding the police, though I do not recommend it at all. When underage drinking and drug use is involved the police take their jobs seriously and do not give any wiggle room for the students that are caught. My best and only advice is don't do it, I will even be as cliche as to say "just say no". If you get caught it can ruin your future and mess up all the plans you had. It's just not worth it.

Honestly, I think it depends on the person, but I think the strictness deserves a C. While police are very strict on campus about alcohol and drug use, in the actual classroom there are little guidelines. Although the handbook says if you miss four or so many days you will fail or your grade will drop by a letter, this is not always the case. Some teachers, especially in large classes, do not count attendance and students take advantage of that.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
