The program I am taking is the administrative assistant program. you learn a lot about the work place about professionalism. So far I have become proficient in my typing, with programs such as excel, Word 2013, Outlook 2013, spread sheets, and Power point. I learned business terminology business math and how to push a company forward. The homework is straight forward, we have a quiz every Wednesday and a test every 2 weeks. you cannot miss out for more than 2 days or you miss out on lot's of juicy information. I would say everything is fair because they let the students remake those hours on their own time. As far as jobs I am focused in working at the airport as an administrative assistant getting paid $25/hr.- $30/hr. but I will continue to see my other options

The reason I joined this college is because I saw an opportunity advertising a job at the airport. I saw a flyer and at the time I was a secretary getting paid $100 every week. I was progressing well but I quit to get a better paying job. I joined the administrative assistant program because it has the skills that are very similar to those that will be expected. With a diploma I will put my skills to use and reach every milestone that will lead to my happiness. Everyone is very friendly from staff to teachers to students. It has been great working with these people I made lot's of friends the only thing that I did not like is that I had to get a loan but it is not so much, to reach my dreams I don't mind working my "donkey" off!

everyone is very welcoming I have been here for two months and the environment is very nice from the janitor to the staff. they have free parking and pay for your tap card. I am satisfied with transportation.

My school offers free parking as well as parking valet. They pay for public transportation they actually pay for your tap card! it is incredible it is like a whole different world everyone is very kind in there own unique ways. Everyone is interesting with their own experiences and the classes are very interesting and very fast. They won't keep you the whole day in there and it gives you time for yourself.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial aid staff was very nice and helpful. It is almost always very empty the fullest it gets is two students or one. the only thing I would change is getting more scholarships known to students.

The computer network is always available. it has great Wi-Fi signal incase you might want to use it. Printing is offered it is free you don't have to wait at all for another person to print something. You could print in color or black and white their is no page limit just make sure you print what is more important. the computer labs are available until 6:00pm everyday except Fridays, Sundays, and Saturdays, so you might want to take advantage of that. The facilities on campus are great. The teachers and students are very nice people and great helpers. If you need to see a councilor, well let me tell you, they will guide you on every step of the way. The classes are small so you actually get to meet the professor and ask any question you might have. it is very diverse and very hands on. Everyone is very honest if you leave your phone forgotten it will remain their the very next day. it is a very peaceful and harmonizing environment.

I love the subject matter and the way it is taught. The teachers explain everything to us clearly and in detail. Classes are small so students get lots of attention and TLC. I'm not afraid to raise my hand to ask questions.

Mark Kapusta is great with the students, very interactive and very personal. The whole class just feels like we're hanging around and chit-chatting. And with fun learning.. you learn and remember so much better!

The program is fun because it opens the door to multiple jobs and careers. The workload is a little heavy, but with medical office management and anatomy and physiology needs that workload especially within the time frame of the module. Cirriculum is great, although i wish we could get more in depth and have a little more time.

My Administrative Assistant diploma was the perfect step to take for me to leave my waitress jobs behind. I wanted a more steady job and I found it as a bank teller. ORT helped me prepare for this job, including the interview. I could not have done it without their staff and my wonderful teachers. I am so thankful for them.

There is job placement with LA ORT. They have a whole classroom full of computers as well as someone that is there to help find employment after graduation.

Classes are small, no more than 20 students per class which makes the academic learning process much easier and less intimidating; I would definitely recommend this school to everyone that are having difficulties learning in a regular college with 200++ students in the class and need personal attention from the professors.

I've been going to Los Angeles ORT College to get trained in the accounting field, the classes have been incredibly organized, beneficial and affordable! Today I have an AAS Degree in Accounting, already working at an accounting firm and making good money

The school provides bus tokens for people who have difficulty getting to school because of transportation, meanwhile we apply to get a discount on the metro passes. It is really helpful for those of us who need it.

Good School – ORT has been a good choice. I don't usually take pride in any school I attend, but i do value the education being given to me. The education being provided will help as long as one chooses to put it into practice and does all that is necessary to benefit the most from it.

School Overview – The school is overall good. They have flexible schedules and getting to school is very easy. The teachers work with you to accomodate you in the classes. Passing the classes is not hard because one's classmates are there to help, as well as the instructor. The one inconvenience was that they didn't accept a scolarship I had recieved in sixth grade.

Somewhat New – I LOVE Los Angeles ORT! From the staff to my fellow classmates to the teachers I've had past and present It truly is a most wonderful place to be! At first I was a bit on the skeptical side with it being a not-for-profit school nor resembling a more traditional community college. But those doubts slowly faded as I began to be in sync with how things work at L.A. ORT. I've only been here roughly 3 months so far and I've loved every minute of it. If I were to have the opportunity to start all over again, I would definately choose Los Angeles ORT Tech!
