Louisiana College doesn't provide campus transportation, but that doesn't slow the students down. Why not? Well, because the campus can be circumnavigated on foot in about fifteen minutes. This does have some benefits: First, it's easier to avoid the freshman 15. Plus, you get to enjoy the Louisiana sunshine (or rain, or sleet, or 100 percent humidity, or all of these in one day) as you walk to class. And, of course, no day would be complete without getting to see the LC squirrels frolicking around the quad.
To get to Pineville or nearby Alexandria, you can drive or hitch a ride with a friend. If neither you or your friends have cars, it's time to get out of your shell and meet some new people! And the school does provide transportation for long-distance travel on school-related events. Athletes get to travel in style in the Wildcat Bus, smaller groups get their choice of two 15-passenger vans, and if all else fails, the school will reimburse you for gas if you have to take your personal vehicle on a school trip. Overall, students don't have anything negative to say about transportation—unless they're complaining that they locked their keys in the car (again). Never fear, though, security is always on hand to pop the lock!

Small Campus
LC is a small campus so you can walk to every class. However the public tranporation in Pineville is horrible but that is not LC's fault.
