Major Events
- The Alumni Association assists with the Homecoming activities, including the parade, and organizes alumni chapters by putting together events for alums in their areas including crawfish boils, academic nights, and group viewings of sports games.
- The Alumni Association is also involved in outreach programs for graduating students , like the senior ring ceremony, in which each senior is individually recognized.
- There is also a two day event in which graduates can get their cap and gown, order invitations and class rings, get a portrait made, buy gifts, finalize their bills with the University, sign up for grad school, and find out events for their graduation.
Publications
- LSU Alumni Magazine, a quarterly magazine describing important University issues and informing alumni about Alumni Association events. The magazine covers alumni activities around the U.S. and facilitates communication between the university and alumni.
