TOPS

If you have tops it just goes straight into your account once school starts, and it only shows the balance you have to pay when you do, which is before the semester starts.

Process Is Semi Smooth

LSU is good about awarding TOPS and they have federal assistance that helps. The website is very easy to follow and a counselor is always there to assist or help you.

NO Help

The financial aid office didn't help with anything! I was an out of state student and didnt recieve any money and had a 4.0 gpa. But if you are from Louisiana and have i think a 2.7 then you get a lot of money which i think is not fair at all!
