I had a few issues but nothing a visit to the office can't fix

Everyone ALWAYS has trouble out of our financial aid department. Things are super, super slow and I was denied for understandable reasons - but I had never, ever received any financial aid from government before. If I didn't have band scholarships, I'd be in even more debt. When I tried to get an appeal to get federal aid, my heart surgery didn't even count as good enough to get an appeal and the decision was made so quickly I doubt they even cared to understand. The student workers don't seem to know what they're doing half the time and it's not really their fault if they're not trained well. One of the main people in charge is rarely in the office. It's just such a hassle to get any answer from any of them. This year, seemed like every one of my friends had an issue of some kind from their office.

Even though I have been fortunate enough to not have to apply for financial aid, my parents did check into their process. Administration is very helpful in walking you through the steps to apply.

Financial aid process is simple. Just register through fafsa. Only problem is--sometimes fafsa is a bit unorganized. Any money left over from financial aid can be electronically transferred to your own bank account.

I have been selected for verification every year I have applied for financial aid, and this last quarter I paid out of pocket using a credit card then didn't receive enough assistance to pay it back.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
