College Prowler Take
A large percent of the kids who go to Loyola are from New York and New Jersey, so if you don’t like the Yankees (in every sense of the word) steer clear. The other percent are mainly from Maryland and Pennsylvania. Many Loyola students have a secure financial dependence on their parents—money ain’t a thing here. Audis, BMWs, Range Rovers, and other vehicles landing in a price range no college student could touch seem to be the norm. Nobody goes to Florida or the lake for spring break—try Jamaica, Atlantis, or Aruba. The campus is severely preppy. Brand names such as Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Coach, Gap, Hollister, J.Crew, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, and Tiffany’s run rampant on this campus. Wherever you go, whatever you’re doing, collars are up and toes are painted. The kids here do not wear sweats, baggy clothes, spandex, or too much makeup or jewelry, and they don’t have piercings or tattoos. Students Speak Out

Well, guys here on campus are much the same as the gals. For the most part, they are very preppy and very high maintenance. Gal-wise, most are nice to look at, and some of them are smart, but all the good, down-to-earth ones are usually taken. All of campus is pretty promiscuous. |

Social Scene
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of hot guys at Loyola; even if they are not impeccable, the clothes and smile will get you every time. These northern boys tend to be more driven, cultured, audacious, cocky, chauvinistic, money hungry, outwardly spoken, forward, and fast (in every sense). In addition, they are very intelligent and non-committers. This is not their fault; the immense beauty brought to the campus by the girls makes it hard to pick just one. Our generation has maximized the term "hookup," and unfortunately for some, the dating scene has been kicked to the side with chivalry. It is a fact that there are more good-looking girls on this campus than there are hot guys. For the most part, the girls here are independent, intelligent, strong-willed, proud drinkers, personable, friendly, and undercover late-night binge eaters. But sometimes, northern girls can be harshly blunt, overbearing, gossipy, capricious, easily ruffled, and self-absorbed.

Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
The easiest place to meet members of the opposite sex is at the bars or campus parties. The alcohol always helps to ease any awkwardness. But don't forget about the possibile hotties in your classes. Joining student clubs is a great untapped resource for broadening your social network.
Dress Code
No pajamas or sweats here, but no black boots and bangles either. Welcome to the land of the extreme prep; it doesn't get much better than this. And although some surrounding schools have supposedly nicknamed us J.Crew U. and Abercrombie U., it hasn't affected the Loyola morale. Loyola places extreme pride in the polo, faded jeans, pearls, flip-flops, mini skirts, and collars up. Stores and brands Loyola kids keep in business include, but are not limited to, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Coach, Gap, Hollister, J.Crew, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, and Tiffany's.
