College Prowler Take

Mmmmmm, the restaurants here make you want to do the “that tastes a lil’ too good” dance! Some noteworthy spots are Babalu, Bahama Breeze, Brick Oven Pizza, J. Paul’s, Mondo Bondo, Rita’s Italian Ice, Paolo’s, and Sofi’s Crepes.

It would be a sin against humanity, and more importantly, against yourself, if you didn’t take a moment to enjoy the blue-cheese-laced spinach, sweet barbecue ribs that fall right off the bone, and a crabcake salad that boasts almost pure crab meat. Eat it—it’s good for you. And please do not forget to ask for some Frangelico with your after-dinner coffee—it beats that mint by a million.

There are plenty of restaurants off campus—in the Inner Harbor and in Towson. The Inner Harbor has the usual, the Cheesecake Factory, ESPN Zone, and Hard Rock Café. Towson has some smaller places, but are just as good. I also suggest Little Italy.

There are a ton of good restaurants off campus. All the restaurants in Little Italy are delicious. Anything by the Harbor is good and offers variety—seafood and burgers. There are also different ethnic restaurants. I was at a Middle Eastern restaurant last year with one of my classes. I never would have gone on my own, since I hadn’t ever tasted Middle Eastern food before, but it was pretty good.
