Off-campus dining is as diverse as Los Angeles. If you’re in the mood for Italian, try southern Italian in Playa del Rey and northern Italian in the Marina. There are numerous pizza places within walking distance of campus, along with the usual fast food staples like Quizno’s, KFC, and Taco Bell. Venture away from campus, and you’ll find restaurants appealing to all tastes and price ranges. One popular locale for good food is Marina del Rey. Drive along Admiralty Way and drop in on one of the high-priced favorites that overlook the marina. Among the little seafood places is a franchise of the Cheesecake Factory; however, bring some cash because valet parking is mandatory. Another good option is the Warehouse. This Polynesian-themed restaurant offers steaks, lobster, and fish. If you want burgers, try Islands. There is no shortage of restaurants in the area. Try Venice, Playa del Rey, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, and Santa Monica for more fine fare.

It's Los Angeles—there are so many different things to try here. Everything, however, is pretty much driving distance. LMU is a closed campus, but we do have various transportation that will take us off campus called the Lion Express.

There isn't a whole lot within walking distance of LMU, but I think there's a pretty good selection of cultural cuisine between the neighboring cities of Playa Del Rey, Culver City, Marina Del Rey, and Santa Monica. Some of my personal favorites are C & O Cucina (Italian), Hurry Curry (Japanese), and Paco's Tacos (Mexican).

The marina has some good restaurants, but I hate spending over ten dollars for a meal. Restaurants at Howard Hughes or Third Street Promenade are cheaper. Ruby’s in the marina has great burgers, and they take Flexi. I think Chipotle does, too. |

Great food everywhere. There are a lot of places within walking distance of the campus, but I always go into Marina del Rey. If you have a car, drive to Manhattan Beach for Chili’s and other chains. California Pizza Kitchen is also a must! |

I hate campus food, so I always walk over to the restaurants on Lincoln. Italy’s Little Kitchen is pretty good, and so is Tower Pizza. It gets expensive if you do it too often, but the food is good. Quizno’s is good, too. If you have a car, you have access to more restaurants, including some really cool places on the marina. |

Los Angeles offers literally any kind of food you could want. Within one mile of LMU, you can grab Italian, Mexican, Thai, American, or pizza. For more exotic fare, explore restaurants in Santa Monica or the city. You’ll find a fusion of all different types of food.
