Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Off-campus dining is as diverse as Los Angeles. If you’re in the mood for Italian, try southern Italian in Playa del Rey and northern Italian in the Marina. There are numerous pizza places within walking distance of campus, along with the usual fast food staples like Quizno’s, KFC, and Taco Bell. Venture away from campus, and you’ll find restaurants appealing to all tastes and price ranges.

One popular locale for good food is Marina del Rey. Drive along Admiralty Way and drop in on one of the high-priced favorites that overlook the marina. Among the little seafood places is a franchise of the Cheesecake Factory; however, bring some cash because valet parking is mandatory. Another good option is the Warehouse. This Polynesian-themed restaurant offers steaks, lobster, and fish. If you want burgers, try Islands. There is no shortage of restaurants in the area. Try Venice, Playa del Rey, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, and Santa Monica for more fine fare.

Eating Life Around LMU

Eating around LMU is awesome there are many places that offer student discounts. Easily over 30 well-known eateries. The prices range depending on what you're looking for as do the styles. There is every type of cuisine within a 10 mile radius and there is take-out, sit down, cheap, fancy whatever you are looking for it is available. My favorite little place is KC's Crepes. They offer an awesome atmosphere and decent prices and you could walk there from campus.

Dining

Off campus dining is fantastic! There are tons of options with a variety of food types. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers, and many other options exist just outside the university walls. It is great to be able to find so many options less than a mile from campus.

Lots to Eat but Nothing Close

There are a lot of options for dining off campus but I feel that the campus is situated quite a ways from the rest of Los Angeles so forget about walking.
