It was ultimately a positive experience, but aid was more difficult to get than I thought it would be and there were some instances where the office told you different information.

Moneymoneymoney!

LMU gives out tons of financial aid. Since it is a private school, there are several donors and scholarships for students to apply for. I got almost half for my tuition, which saved me tons of money! If you come here, apply for FAFSA, and calgrants! They help a lot.

Ummmm Awful.

Honestly, this is one of the things I hate about LMU (despite the fact that I LOVE lmu). Some of the most undeserving people receive full tuition while other people, like myself, get small scholarships that don't really provide much aid. We do have work study programs but not only is it difficult to actually find a job (not guaranteed a job) but it is also hard to make the amount of money "awarded".
