School Spirit
School spirit is almost nonexistent at Loyola. Still, when the basketball team plays well, students tend to get excited about the possibilities of an NCAA Tournament bid. Perhaps the most telling sign of the students' love for their school is their willingness to protest about it. Loyolans have such affection for their professors and academic programs that they are willing to fight the administration tooth and nail when it threatens them with cutbacks.
Getting Tickets
It is easy to get tickets to all of Loyola's sporting events, and they are all free to students. The only exception to this rule is when a national power such as Michigan State comes to town to play the basketball team, in which case tickets can be scarce.
