Do not come to Loyola if you're into athletics. Our "undefeated", nonexistent football team is our glory of athletics. The admin is trying to get a football team on campus though. Athletics really isn't that big of a part to Loyola.

Residence Life

Loyola has a policy of guest check ins which can be good for security purposes but at the same time seriously inconvenient for the student as you are required to be with a guest at all times and be with them at the time of check in and check out.

Loyola Is Kind of Scary

Sure, there are campus police driving around and those blue emergency button things everywhere. But Rogers Park is a sketchy neighborhood. Students get mugged. It happens. But if you're smart you'll be okay. Never walk alone at night, stick to well-lit main roads rather than deserted alleys, and pay attention to your surroundings. And always lock your door.
