Not much diversity, but they are working on it

I don't see a reason not to succeed. The classes are the expected workload, the professors want to work with the students to help them succeed, and it's a welcoming atmosphere. I feel as though internship placement will be easy and I will graduate thoroughly pleased with my decision to attend Loyola and satisfied to boot.

While there is diversity within classrooms, Loyola is a Jesuit school. Most activities non-sports appear to focus on chapel and charity, which is good in its own regard but not if you're uninterested in a Christian school.

Absolutely. I have no doubt that once I'm licensed, more doors will be opened to me than ever before.

Very big on sports due to inclusion in Patriot League. Very big sports school, good fan support and fields. I do feel that as a non-sports student, I am still valued and given time.

Unable to grade as not involved with that population and commuting for grad school. I assume policies are in place for residents.

I need to have two internships for my Master's degree. From what I understand, Loyola has an entire program dedicated to finding placements and info sessions to help each student succeed. I am very excited to start the process next semester for summer placement!

Never had a problem finding a computer. Wireless can be touchy on the quad, but otherwise excellent service. Computers are updated and the network is fast.

Not eligible for financial aid due to graduate school. Not sure for undergrad, but I know Loyola is more expensive in general.

You can find anything you want close by. There's the typical McDonalds, but there's Belvedere Square close by with excellent food and easy parking. Love Ryan's Daughter; excellent Irish pub.

It's in Baltimore city limits, so the nightlife is easy to get to and easy to get home. Can't speak to on campus, but Baltimore is awesome.

Our dining options are expensive. The following semester we are going to have a new dining system though. So we will see if it has improved.

The financial aid office is the best. They helped me every step of the way and seem to understand they are there for me. not to just accomplish a job.

The campus dining at Loyola university maryland, is the very best. With new menus and variety for student to always give the feeling of home.

The diversity at Loyola university Maryland, is the very best. Loyola is open to new ideas with it comes to sexual orientation, religion and beliefs which even help student be more if themselves without being judged.
College Freshman 2013-07-29T11:35:14Z
The campus housing at Loyola university maryland, is like no other. The social atmospher is more upbeat with different style and class that makes it feel more like home. With low cost, your housing is where you get to relax and make friends that would last for a life time.

To be very honest, Loyola university maryland is one of the best school in Maryland and I could not be more happier to major in their school of business where students across 50 States have now called home. At Loyola, not only would you have the chance at great education, you will be pushed by teacher, friends, and staff that only want the best for you. Although the workload and the curriculum might be hard, it only design is to help you grow mental, physical and emotional for the next chapter of your life. With internship/ job of the world in which Loyola is a part if mean, each student has the chance and opportunities they never knew existed which is simply amazing. Loyola university is simply an amazing school and I could not be more excited to be a student there this fall..

Most Loyola students go to bars a lot. Starting on Thursday nights, people take cabs to bars near campus. If it's not your thing (it wasn't my thing!), find people who feel the same way as you do, and you'll do fine.

I loved learning at Loyola. If you take advantage of small class sizes, and unprecedented access to professors, you'll love it too. Classes aren't nearly as hard as ones at higher-tier universities, but you can get a lot out of them.

I think Loyola should de-emphasize athletics. They spend a lot of money on new facilities, and it shows. Yet it comes at the cost of stagnating wages for faculty, all while athletics coaches are some of the highest paid staff at Loyola.

Speaking about the social sciences/humanities (i.e. not Business), Loyola can be great if you're looking for an educational experience. Small classes = lots of opportunities to get to know professors. However, if you're more interested in partying, it's fairly easy to slide through by taking "easy" professors.
