You can take up to 6 credits a semester at Tulane each semester. However, you cannot minor in something unless you can take up to half the credits at Loyola. Since most minors require 21 credits, you would need to take at least 11 of them at Loyola. Since Loyola does not offer public health courses, you unfortunately would not be able to minor in Public Health.
Average is no more than 20-30 but bigger beginner classes can have around 70.
Loyola has lots of bike riders! They mostly use them for going out in and about in the city, but there are tons of bikers. The Loyola Police Department also has a bike auction for bikes that are left if you want to wait to buy one.
I would definitely purchase a bike through the LUPD bike auction. They are usually really good quality and were just parked illegally or left for too long. There are plenty of places to park your bike on campus and you can also leave it in your room.

Loyola Univeristy New Orleans is a unique school because it is acccepting of all kinds of people from different backgrounds, beliefs, and much more. The professors care about the students they teach, and while they will not hold your hand, they will help anyone who seeks assistance. Show yourself off by getting involved. If there is one thing you should do, it's networking, and the only way to network is to get to know different professional staff members and fellow classmates.
One of the most extraordinary aspects of Loyola is how it teaches students the Jesuit values through exciting religion and philosophy classes and by encouraging students to ask questions and be curious. Loyola teaches students how to create a balance between work, school, and personal time. This institution does not simply teach but helps students refine their current skills and find new ones and encourages everyone, professors included, to try something different. There is something for everyone, and that is what makes Loyola stand out from most universities because it has so much to offer.
