Loyola Univeristy New Orleans was founded in 1912. Over the years, buildings have been added and renovated. Buddig Hall, one of the first residence halls on campus, has recently undergone renovation in the summer of 2012. Cabra Hall on the Brodway campus is closed for renovations for renovations for the 2012–2013 academic year, and Monroe Hall is having some work done as well.

With all of the student organizations, there is always something to do. During finals, the library is the place to be because they offer free coffee long after CC's Community Coffee closes. During the day, you can find people all over campus in the Peace Quad, Residential Quad, and Palm Court laying out in the sun on the grass or studying.
