There are a lot of computer labs on campus PC and Mac. There is also a 24 hour lab that you can use when ever it is needed. The internet in the dorms have trouble but they are fixing it by adding routers and space. Tech support is in the library and has the same hours as the library.

There isn't much around except for a few chain restaurants and crappy none chain restaurants. Nothing is really open that late around even on weekends. The best place to eat is the local diner which has awesome food other then that the best food to get is in the nest town over.

The housing is not the best but not the worst but there is no real sense of community in the dorms. The dorms are not that bad compared to some other schools but they are dorms with people of many ages, race, and sex living in them some are kept up better by the people living in them then other. There are a few different types of living we have regular dorm living, apartment living, and preferable housing.Apartment living and preferable living you must apply to be in. You have to have certain grades and standings. In both you have to clean everything yourselves and you need to provide things like toilet paper. While in the regular dorms that is all done for you. The apartment living you are in a group of five people who each have their own room and you have one bathroom a kitchen and a living area. In the preferable living you live in a house and only five people live in it. Making it hard to get in. Over all the housing isn't that bad but you just have no real sense of community amoung the housing.

They aren't really stick with to much but they are very lenient with things they should be more stick with. They are normally good with making people go by the rules but there are always a few people who let others get away with things they shouldn't.

The teachers and administration are great and everyone is here to help. If you need anything all you need to do is ask. Sure there are a few things that i don't like about the school but overall I do like and find it to be a great fit. The school is very welcoming. Teachers will work with you on anything you need help with and will make sure you understand anything that needs understanding. The school often has activities to do on campus that are pretty good to go to. They have many events to help you with anything in school or out. They try their best to have things to do on campus since we are in the middle of nowhere. I do think we more and better events to get more students involved but other then that it works great.

It is a pretty okay local atmosphere but the school is just in the middle of nowhere. Its not bad if you are used to it but I am from a city area so it was hard to get used to but now i like how it isn't so busy around it makes it easier to get work done and focus on your school work. I miss being in a busy area but for school I think it is good to be in a not so busy area.

Health & Safety:
The heath and safety are very good on campus. There isn't really a problem with crime or security. The public safety do good jobs taking care of campus. The health center is a little way from most of the dorms but it is very good and they are great there if you need anything. The people in the health care center are always there to help.

There isn't much transportation on campus but most students have their own car. There are shuttles every weekend into the town next to ours and during ski and snowboard season there are often shuttles to the mountains. Also there are buses that you can take to get pretty much anywhere else in Vermont but you need to transfer a lot. It would be better if we had zip cars. We do have vans students can use but you can only use them from classes or for trip that clubs go on.

I really wish there were scholarships that fit me. Only one did, and that was the general one anyone could take. I'm struggling financially and wishing to persue my education there next semester

I am very happy with my program. I plan on doing something with music maybe even having my own music business career. I know I will find a job in my field. You cannot live without music.

There was lots of paper work but it was worth it. The majors are good and I'm glad I chose Lyndon. Just take the time and effort to get everything in and it will all go smoothly in the end.

I am a graphic design major, I think now it is titled just "design". I am so happy in my program; the facitilties and faculty are wonderful. I have learned so much about things that really matter to me. I have been able to gain real world experience as well as basics to help me excel. The Art Department is all about bettering everyone involved and preparing them for the future.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
