The ARC is great, tutors are always available, and fellow students in the Honors Program always have new insight into courses and professors.

I feel something went wrong with the online forum. While knowing I posted all completed assignments only a few appeared on the forum and with no way of proving the assignments were completed my final grade was at stake. This makes me very nervous to take another online course that requires a forum for 30 students to post on, multiple times weekly.

Being in the honors program, I've found classes sizes to be much smaller, with added opportunities for every participant. Class schedules always have a way of winding around work and personal schedules so that nothing is really sacrificed when working your way through school.

There is many resources at Macon State. There are plenty of buildings filled with computers and/or people that can help you.

The schedules are not very flexible at all. Alot of the classes are at the same time and on the same days with no other options.I ended up getting behind because of that.

There are several campuses and each one is unique. You can live on campus at some of them. Some of the campuses are bigger than others and offer different things, such as sports! The class sizes are moderate so you can feel comfortable with the people in it and be able to hold discussions!

The student life center is the best! One stop shop for almost everything you need to start and continue your education and enjoy yourself while doing so. Also, throughout the buildings (specifically PSC and Jones) are comfortable chairs with tables so that if you have time between classes you have somewhere to go instead of driving home or somewhere else and having to come back. The library is a great study area as well because there are private rooms if you have a study group. In addition, there are options like Subway and Starbucks which is a plus!!! Also, all of my classes are in the same area and sometimes even the same room!!

The professors at Middle Georgia State College (formerly Macon State College) are awesome! I have heard many people say that my school is hard..I don't think so but YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR YOUR GRADE! You have to understand what you are doing not just memorize it verbatim (in most cases). Yes, it will be challenging but more rewarding once you walk across the stage! I am a senior now and recently I experienced issues when registering that took a couple of months and numerous emails to resolve which was unusual and frustrating. Other than that I would definitely recommend Middle Georgia State College to anyone who is up for a challenge not an easy walk.

Business is among the few that are very popular. It has its advantages because I am surrounded among people with my same goals and aspiration. The workload is unbelievable with Macon State being a small school the professors treat students as if they are attending a big school. You have to be prepared to work.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Tuition and fees are not too bad compared with other schools. Financial Aid is a pretty typical busy place with all the new comers just bursting through the door. Overall the process was simple once you take the right steps.

The scenery is very exquisite. The pond is filled with ducks that are just waiting to be feed. As well as the involvement with the students and activities are always fun and exciting. The tools for getting help with work are amazing. Each subject has a resource that is available and flexible with others schedule.

The resources are very convenient. They are always fun activities with school as well as free prizes and materials are given. Each center is easy to find with people who are just waiting to help the next individual.

Depending on course, they are very easy to go through.

The flexibility is pretty decent, but you still have obstacles that can effect that.
College Freshman 2013-07-26T01:44:44Z
The college is very diverse in many different aspects, from religion, sexuallity, interest, ethnic backgrounds, culture, and economically. As far as iv seen the students and teachers are very accepting of the varity of types of people that attended.

No one has any school pride. Everyone feels as if they are of average intelligence, so they don't really strive for much. They do the bare minimum just to get by.

I feel as if the network is always running smoothly and quickly. My school gives you a huge amount of free printing credits every year. I never run out.

For now, I will give my college an A-. The facilities are never packed, so you can get in and do what you need to do. Having gone to a larger university, it was much harder to be able to do what you wanted in a reasonable amount of time. They are building a very big, expensive recreation center. I'm excited to see the finished product, as I'm paying for it in my fees currently.

The class sizes are small, so you get good interaction with your professor. Their nursing school is well known and taken very seriously. Campus and social events kind of fall flat, and there are not meaning sporting events that you can go to. Many students do not have any school pride.

Macon State student body is very diverse. you see all kind of different people even in your class but most students are friendly. i typically keep to myself.

I have had difficulty with getting an advisor and getting registered in classes. i have also had a hrad time dealing with the financial aid office and business office. i have had wonderful professors that make it worth it.
