So that you can understand my perspective, I am in the engineering transfer program. Other program students, such as nursing students, will have a different opinion. The academics here are pretty good for a science major. They go pretty in depth into math courses, especially for a two-year school. They have good science classes, with very helpful and good teachers. In some ways, you will learn better here than at UW. The reason I gave the school a B is that they have very low level biology/zoology transfer classes. The school has good nursing bio classes, but for transfer to engineering or something similar, the zoology classes are worth very little (depending on what you need, I suppose).

We don't have campus security, but I believe every campus should. Extra piece of mind, otherwise haven't seen any problems so far.

We don't have to pay for parking which is nice and there are usually plenty of parking spots.

The computers are good. They just have a lot of different sites I feel that all have one purpose.

Restaurants are probably what madison has a lot of great places to eat. cheba hut is one of my favorites, it's a sub shop. A lot of places are trendy but good. Oh, and cheba hut is cheap with moderate prices for drinks

there is a strong no drug policy of no drugs or alcohol on school grounds

madison is the best city in the world for its night life

not much variety . . . few scholarships, but many awards

There is diversity, but it does not fully reflect the community served.

I am in the Liberal Arts - Transfer Program at Madison College. I have had a great experience so far. I plan to transfer to the University of Wisconsin in the Fall of 2014 and I have received a lot of advise about which classes to take and how to transfer smoothly.

We have a great international education program with some awesome opportunities that you normally don't see at a two-year school.

I have made great connections with my instructors at Madison College. The small school environment gives you a great chance to get to know them and learn more than you would at a big University. Most of the instructors also work in the field that they teach which gives them real-world perspective.

We have three new buildings at Madison College that have improved the look of campus as ton. I am excited to use the amenities this fall. I wish it was located closer to downtown Madison rather than being way out on the East Side.

We have great wireless and printing service. We have a lot of computers and the speed and wireless access are impeccable. I only wish we had more advanced computers. Most of them are PCs while I prefer to work on Mac products.

I did not know internships were available at Madison College. Besides I do mine back home with a different program during the summer, which is more convenient for me.

Madison College is a NJCAAIII school for athletics. I've played on the women's basketball team, and I've had great coaches and good experiences. The sports teams are very competitive. Intramural volleyball and basketball are a lot of fun too. I think the school has an awesome fan base considering how small the college is compared to UW. I love the weight room and pool! Get involved it makes being at college more enjoyable!

The construction for the truax campus has made it difficult to find a close parking spot. Plus having to walk further just to get inside the building, especially when it's cold, snowing, or raining. Once all the construction is done I won't have many complaints.

I'm unaware that there's even a drug scene at my college. I must be blind if there is, my school is a good school. Madison is a big college town, there's 3 big colleges that I know of, the problem is drinking not drugs.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
