Students of chemistry and chemical technology focus on the scientific study of the composition and behavior of matter, including its micro- and macro-structure, the processes of chemical change, and the theoretical description and laboratory simulation of these phenomena. Coursework can include: laboratory analysis procedures and equipment maintenance, applications to specific research, industrial and health problem, instruction in chemical instrumentation, physical chemistry and industrial processing methods and equipment.
