Forestry programs prepare students to manage and develop forest areas for economic, recreational, and ecological purposes; and to development, care for , and maintain individual trees and forested areas within or close to areas of dense human habitation. Courses may includes instruction in forest-related sciences, mapping, statistics, harvesting and production technology, natural resources management and economics, wildlife sciences, administration, and public relations.
