Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The ice cold isolation of Marlboro is made survivable because of one thing: regularly scheduled transportation! That’s right, Marlboro has made sure that its students have about five chances daily to catch a van or bus right from campus and into town. They will frequently stop at local grocery stores, but their most frequent drop-off is right in the center of downtown Brattleboro. This is where most every need can be taken care of and all kinds of adventures can happen (adventures outside of the 300 familiar faces on campus, that is).

The Marlboro College vans stop at Marlboro North, the school’s off-campus dormitory, about five times throughout the day. Unfortunately, when the weather becomes treacherous for larger vehicles, students who depend on the vans often don’t get to campus. This also happens with the MOOver vans, and journeys into town are often cancelled due to ice and snow. But as a whole, Marlboro’s student transportation system works wonderfully for students without vehicles.

Decent

The college has vans that run to town every so often and organized van runs to events. There is also the Moover which is public transportation and it picks you up right in front of the dining hall.

Brat has very little public...

Brat has very little public transportation, but it’s small enough you can walk just about anywhere. There are regular van runs between Marlboro and Brat that are pretty convenient.
