Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

It is almost unanimous—Marquette students could not be more satisfied with their experience here. Almost every student who looks back at their experience says they would make the same decision all over again if they could. Even if a student experienced uneasiness or uncertainty at the start, they almost never regret their decision in the end. Yes, money may be an issue, the campus is not all that diverse, and studying hard is a must, but hey, no school is perfect. Marquette can offer more than you may expect, like a welcoming atmosphere, distinguished faculty, and a noteworthy academic reputation.

During the college selection process, Marquette is often a top pick among prospective college students due to a number of factors. Sure, students are quick to recognize the drawbacks, but most acknowledge the beneficial qualities Marquette can provide, such as the strong academic foundation, top-quality professors, and an endless amount of entertainment opportunities in a major city location. Most of all, a feeling of small-town community togetherness makes Marquette feel unique to the students here. With all things considered, if you can swing the cost of a Marquette education, then the price is right—so come on down. Of course, like any experience in life, college is what you make it. So get involved, make new friends, and try new experiences, and it will be the time of your life.

Living Big Only Gets Better

The best freshmen dorms would have to be at Abbottsford because they have the bigger rooms. McCormick's rooms are pie shaped and it can get crowded. There are also only girl and boy dorms are available but they are farther from campus. For the upperclassmen there are better options. The best option would have to be McCabe because they have more room, their own bathrooms, and it is just a bigger living area. Even though the cost is a little bit more I would have to say it is better the only down side is that it is the quietest dorm which in some cases can be great. Another thing to keep in consideration is that students are required to live on campus dorms for the first two years and then they can go live somewhere else.
