College Prowler Take
Students attend Marquette not only for the superb education provided, but also because it is such an amazing place to call home. Marquette’s administration understands this fact and does its best to provide several opportunities for recreation on campus. Marquette is more than people and relationships; it is also a physical environment that offers students a wide variety of services. From the recent construction of the digital state-of-the-art John P. Raynor Library to the new Al McGuire Center athletic facility, there are a lot of interests taken into consideration on this campus. There are almost always a few minor renovations happening to the numerous other facilities.
With facilities like the Chapel of the Holy Family, Rec Plex, Helfaer Tennis Stadium and Recreational Center, Haggerty Museum of Art, Helfaer Theater, St. Joan of Arc Chapel, or the Golden Eagles Spirit Shop, the campus is in top shape to begin with. All the new improvements, updates, and additions to the Marquette campus will continue to make this a great learning and living environment.

The Campus Is Fairly Nice but Needs More Green Space
B
Overall campus is fairly nice... Marquette Hall, Johnston and Gesu are very classical looking and pretty. Zilber Hall is more modern looking but well-designed and very new. But Cudahy doesn't fit into campus at all and Lalumiere is obviously an eyesore. Green space is also a little lacking.

Library is great
A-
I really like the library. The facilities are great, and I really enjoy the quiet rooms. However, I wish other parts stayed open longer.

The Rec Plex is perhaps the nicest in terms of athletics, because it was once a YMCA; the weight rooms are very nice there. Valley Fields is also nice, but due to Milwaukee’s long periods of cold and drizzle, there needs to be an enclosed area for club sports to practice. |
