Because Marquette is a Catholic University you cannot get any form of birth control through student health services, even condoms. Most students use Planned Parenthood for all their contraception needs and it's close to campus. Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin is right next to Mashuda Hall, located about a half-mile from the heart of campus.

The guys and girls at Marquette agree that the initial reaction when arriving on campus seems to be that the male population here is made up of mainly handsome hunks, whereas the female side is, for the most part, pretty Barbie wannabes. And there aren't a lot of attractive people who don’t fall into one of those categories. Above all else, Marquette students seem to recognize the fact that good-looking guys and girls are both here, so it is just a matter of finding the right fit for you and your personal tastes.

On the whole, Marquette is definitely not a dog pound. In fact, because the University’s population includes a collection of students from different states and countries, you may find just about everything and anything you are looking for.

A Bit of Everything

At Marquette there's a bunch of different kinds of people, there is a group for everyone. I'm an athlete at school so typically I'm with my team, but I have plenty of different acquaintances from my classes. Generally everyone is pretty nice, too.

Nice Culmination of Boys and Girls

everyone is generally friendly. some real ugly bigger girls every once in a while, just avoid those hogs, but men are good guys, all pretty athletic.

Girl's/Parties

Here at Marquette attrativiness is sad beyond belief. 1 out of 25 girls is attractive, the rest are stuck up daddy's girls who aren't the least bit attractive. It is sad to see a school that got top catholic party school, because the parties consist of a bunch of dudes huddled around a keg with 5 girls at the entire party not a single bit attractive. Beer goggles are a must but even then they do not help.

If you are looking for attractive girls. Stay away from Marquette!

Social Scene

Since Marquette is known for its high academic rating and studious students, it’s no wonder why students usually meet someone who piques their interest vigorously taking notes at the desk to the left or right of their own. Otherwise, students interact with one another via extracurricular activities and at the bars or campus parties.

Hookups or Relationships?

There is a handful of single guys and girls, but there is a sizable amount of students involved in serious relationships. Nonetheless, if you are looking for some commitment-free hookups, you can find that if you want.

Dress Code

Given that many, if not most, Marquette students are financially well-off, a trendy and upscale appearance certainly shows (especially outfits devoted to the nightlife). Daily student wardrobes range from the clean-cut look to the "I just rolled out of bed" look. Numerous students, especially the female population, like to freshen themselves up in the morning before attending class. On the other hand, about the same amount prefer the comfort of a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants. Every now and then, you may find some sophisticatedly dressed guys and girls, but generally speaking, the students' apparel is characteristically trendy-casual.
