All Marquette students get a bus pass—U-Pass—that allows them to ride the Milwaukee Country Transit bus as much as they want for free, so if you have the money and don't mind a little bus ride, eating off campus can be a fun adventure even if you don’t have a car. Living in the city offers an endless amount of restaurants to choose from, and since there are a wide variety of ethnicities represented in Milwaukee, there are a lot of different ethnic cuisines here, as well.
Closer to campus, you will find the typical college restaurants. There is a Jimmy John’s, Marquette Gyros, Papa John’s, Qdoba, Real Chili, The Dogg Haus, Subway, and Cousins Subs all a short walk from the dorms. There are also a few diners that are reasonably priced and offer good food, as well as Chinese restaurants that deliver to the dorms. All of the menus can be found at the front desk of each dorm. Students probably won't like the food in the dining hall, but there is definitely something for everyone when it comes to off-campus dining.
