Great! the dorms for both freshmen and upperclassmen are amazing. there is at least one computer lab in every residential building, along with the student center, library, and some academic buildings, everything is super clean and they update their technology regularly

The library and rec are nice and modern. There are a fair amount of green spaces with activities going on regularly. The student center is a little outdated, but not terrible. The dining halls are decently nice.

The rec has plenty to do, the student center is ok and has some decent food options, though you do have to use flex points. A lot of people go home on the weekends, but it's kind of nice to relax a bit and be able to enjoy the space more.

Marshall University has a Graduate Assistant program that is a wonderful opportunity for students.
This program allows a graduate student, let's say a History Major (like myself), who earns their undergraduate degree, who then goes on to earn a graduate degree in History, to teach a couple of history classes while they're in grad school. While the student is teaching at and attending Marshall, Marshall will pay all of the student's tuition, and provide a modest living allowance for the student.
Of course there are certain criteria the student must fulfill, such as having a high GPA and they must have references from the department of which they would be working for, but this is a great opportunity. I plan to work towards being a graduate assistant as soon as I can get started because, as a future teacher, that would be a wonderful start for me, not to mention getting tuition paid for.

Marshall University has a wonderful campus. The recreation (rec) center is absolutely fabulous. It is a comfortable, clean, state-of-the-art place to exercise for students.
Drinko library is a wonderful place to sit with friends, use computers, reserve study rooms, or rent books. The staff is helpful and kind.
Marshall also provides students with discounts (and occasionally free nights) for a local bowling alley which is nice, and it gives students a fun evening with friends.
The student center is always nice, plenty of comfortable seating if you're waiting for a class. There's a Starbucks as well as plenty of other restaurants for students to choose from. Located in the student center, there is also something called "The Student Resource Center". This is a place for students to go and get help with basically anything they need (sorting out class problems, unsure where a class is, etc.), the staff in the Student resource center has helped me many times.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
