As a person who could use scholarships, I found it very difficult to find scholarship opportunities.

I received a decent amount of financial aid, but I am still having to take out loans. I have won a scholarship to another school but Marshall wasn't able to meet it nor did they try to help.

The only trouble I had with financial aid was getting one scholarship cut to "make room in my budget" for a grant. They wouldn't let me have both, but I didn't need it. Other than that, I have had no trouble with financial aid. Apply for the FAFSA and do it early because you never know what you will be offered.

I received a $1000 scholarship my spring 2013 semester but this semester it's getting hard to find any help in that department. A tip would be to apply for fafsa early January and apply for financial aid at Marshall early.
