Computer labs are never available and Internet service is a joke.

Several classes were in rooms full of storage and had looked unused for decades. Everything is outdated.

Extremely strict and completely hypocritical. I can't believe these people call themselves Christians..
College Senior 2013-07-27T17:52:25Z
I wouldn't let my dog stay in one of these dorms!!

Martin is like going back to high school.... A very under-funded one. Which you think wouldn't be a problem charging 20k a year but I suppose most of your tuition lines the pockets of there extremely wealthy higher up staff.

Some of the houses around campus are nice but all of downtown is a rough community so be ready to live next to trailer trash and drug dealers.

If it rains or storms get ready to get soaked and have your shoes ruined. To get across campus is a lot of outdoor walking.

Health & Safety:
On campus is one security guard who is long past retirement and would have enough trouble protecting himself. I lived off campus and was solicited for money or cigarettes almost daily by people walking the streets. A swat team circled my neighbors house and busted a big meth lab just across from the gym several months ago. There was an armed bank robbery less than two blocks from campus last semester and the school didn't lock down or anything!

On campus are no nightlife activities. Pulaski itself is a dead town with a Walmart, a few fast food chains, and several dive bars I wouldn't dare go in if my life depended on it!

I would say that there is definitely availability around the school area to live off campus. Many places that are close landlords will work with students if they may be late in rent or whatever because they know they are going to school. I like living at home, off campus because it gives me a break from school and helps me focus on studying.

I'm not sure that we have Greek life on Campus. If we do than I haven't heard much of it. I think Greek life is still being discussed and slowly developed so that's why I feel this doesn't really apply to my school just yet.

The computer labs on Martin Methodist Campus are accessible, but have their moments. We have network and internet issues frequently and if that isn't occurring then many computers are down and having updates. It can be very frustrating at times. Overall they are pretty good.

The Restaurants on the strip which is the main road on the right side of the campus give students discounts when students show their student I.D. The general fast food is the normal prices, but if you want a good meal at a good price I would recommend Common Ground Café. It is really good and has a variety of options and not if at all more than getting a meal at a fast food place.

I found the major I wanted, and although I've struggled a bit this past semester, I'm really enjoying working toward a degree in music.

I love the tight-knit campus, it gives opportunity for more one-on-one help and it makes it so much easier to make new friends.

I don't really know that much about the sports. I'm in the music program and spend most of my time around the other "music nuts".

Some of the professors could be a bit more understanding, but for the most part, I really enjoy being on campus.

Since Pulaski is a small community, most things are in walking distance of one another. Cabs are available, but usually unnecessary. Most people commute themselves.

So far, I am content with the Biology program at my school. I believe it is preparing me for medical school, especially with a large workload. I plan to join the US Navy and go into Navy Medicine for several years, and eventually work at a hospital.

It all depends on you. If you are willing to put forth time and effort to the commitment, no acceptance is necessary. Only you accept the fact you want to commit to being a future physician.

I volunteer at local hospitals/nursing homes, and also shadow doctors. An internship is not applicable at this time.

Biology/Behavioral Science is a unique field and it is definitely two that I equally enjoy. The mind and anatomy of the human body are absolutely amazing. Since I do take 20 hours, the workload does get intense, but it will forever prepare me for medical school course work.

I don't eat anything from the school so I wouldn't know.

Just Like Home – The dorms and apartments on the campus of Martin Methodist College are in great condition and they tend to have the effect of feeling like one is at home. The housing is safe and comfortable. It is kept clean and running thanks to our maintenance staff. Whether it's the dorms, apartments, the green, or Jazzman's Cafe, students are always gathering and socializing. Martin Methodist College has a wonderful environment. It has a small town feel and everyone knows everyone for the most part. If a person doesn't know you more than likely he or she has seen you before. All are friendly and are willing to help one another which is what makes the campus so great.

The volunteering and helping out the community is a big plus to my school. I love that the school reaches out to help others not just those within the community.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
