It's really not a nightlife party town it had nice restaurant to enjoy downtown and nice little shop you to browse around but that's about it

I like everything academic, the professors and staff are fine. Fun Is hard to come by, when people go out they go to wal-mart or take an hour drive to James Madison University to go to their parties. I do like the pro-female environment, everyone is supportive and is really there to help see you succeed. Also they have the Virginia Women's Institute for Leadership, an all Women's Cadet Corp that does all the yearly parades and travels to NYC to participate in the St. Patricks day parade. So go if you want a nice, quiet, supportive environment in the hills.

There's literally no nightlife here. No sororities and everything in Staunton closes early.

Nightlife is fun even when you're not 21 or older. There are plenty of freshmen that go here that are 18 years old. Me and my friends go to parties at JMU like every other weekend. The parties are fun and memorable, besides they are free of charge. At some of the JMU parties, you get to see the fraternities and sororities perform. They are really fun though. Transportation is good, because as a freshman at Mary Baldwin, you get to have your car on campus. On other nights, we go to the movies or out to eat.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
