We have enough computers on campus

Printing kiosks are provided all over campus and a stipend that is renewed every semester is given to each student. There are multiple places to use computers, so one should never have to deal with waiting in line for a computer. In the library, students are able to check-out laptops if they either do not have one or forgot theirs either at home, dorm, or car. The network, speed, and wireless access is fairly accessible. There are a number of resources at Marymount regarding these topics!

There are plenty of computer labs for students to use across campus. The network is more reliable now than past years, however, its definitely a good idea to have a Ethernet cable available for backup during finals time. The bandwidth was just increased last year, so students are generally safe to use wifi year round without any difficulties and fast speed. Definitely way more convenient to have your own computer, as most students do. Printing on campus has taken a semi dive within the past few years. We now use the WEPA system which is slow, unreliable, and expensive once you run out of free printing quantities of 250 sheets. For politics, nursing, or heavy paper intensive classes, your 250 sheets is possibly gone by the end of September. It definitely forces you to be connotative about printing.

The computers are fast and easy to access. The wireless access all around campus makes everything easier.

The University does lack Wepa printers and need to improve on adding more to make the printing process much more efficient. Wi-fi is a bit slow and is a hassle to keep connecting. Overall, there are many computer labs equipped to provide for the small amount of student size.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
